Actually Geraldo has been decent tonight, including focussing (in a VERY negative way) on obastard’s influence on this case even being brought.

Whorealdo’s comments imply that some group (principally made up of TM’s blood relatives) actually cared for him. Did they really? He had a mother who almost nothing to do with his upbringing (and whose house he had been recently booted out of), a father who lived with a number of women after parting company with TM’s biological mother (and was shacked up with some new woman he just met) and some other miscellaneous blood relatives. It’s hard enough just to figure out what constitutes his ‘family’. It’s the fact that they were a disconnected bunch that had demonstrated a history of self-interest throughout TM’s life before he turned 17 that at least from a statistical perspective lead TM down the road of thuggery that brought him to his end. TM’s family might be feeling sorrow as a result of his passing but they sure didn’t demonstrate that they actually cared for him while he was alive.
