Since when is a passed out guy deciding to put a move on a woman???? If he is falling down staggeringly drunk (as so many of these dumb women are) how is he even able to get or maintain an erection....Physiologically it doesn’t happen. I have yet to see a fellow passed out being ready to go.
I was referring to the article itself. It is specific and for the town of Edmundton. Since that is where this all occurred.

After you do that, go to AA or NA meetings for ten years or so and listen to how many broken people were persuaded as children by one parent or the other to bring false charges against their ex or their ex’s new squeeze.
Are false reports half of all reports, or even a quarter? No. But they are likely between an eighth and a fifth. Hardly uncommon.
At the same time, a quarter to a third of rapes are not reported.
The two phenomenon are not mutually exclusive.
Some do....that does not give men license to take advantage of someone who is so drunk they are staggering or passed out. What is interesting about having sex with that?

One of these days men will realize that “no sex outside of marriage” is the only way to be entirely safe from false accusations of rape.
One exception would be to have immunity if you had a “Mutual Consent” form, signed, witnessed and notarized 24 hours before the event. Yeah, I know, “ain’t gonna happen”.
But it would provide the guy with immunity. It would also make a whole lot of couples stop and think, “Is this really a good idea?”
I have been going to meetings for a lot longer than 10 years and your so called claim of ‘many’ broken children being persuaded to file false charges against a parent is just flat out false. First since it is after all anonymous anyone can say anything ( and they often do). Have folks in AA been abused....sure a lot of them. Have folks in AA had pretty standard childhoods? Sure a lot of them. SInce you give a non quantifiable example it is meaningless. Moreover the type of information that you describe seems to only be shared by some newbie who hasn’t been told that you don’t share a fifth step at meeting level. And beyond that you have no business sharing what happens in a closed meeting outside of a closed meeting. But that’s okay because you had a ‘pure’ reason for doing so. Check your own self.

a guy can be drunk and still want sex and be able to perform. my college roomates would attest. anyone who’s been on spring break would attest.
drunk doesn’tmean passed out. when you drink you are impaired. if both parties drink, both are impaired, and if both are drunk, neither can give consent or be responsible for their actions.
you can’t expect men to treat women who are acting like drunk sluts, like ladies. they by defiition are notacting like ladies by getting faling down drunk on purpose. i am not saying it justifies actual rape, i am saying their own behavior needs to be owned by them and voluntary idiotic behavior done by two drunk people either must be shared or both are absolved.

I gave no specific names nor geographic information. The stories are common enough that individual anonymity is not endangered. Generalities about meetinhs are not abrogation of confidentiality.

Weird, huh? I can see your confused look from here, and I shared that confused look.
Apparently her plan was to bolster claims for her impending police report of a rape or sexual assault —there is some inexplicable grievance cadre there, and the charge for admittance up into the cool kids’ treehouse is some claim to being a victim. A victim of SOMETHING.
COMPLICATED, HUH? That was on the radio here one hour ago.

why are you giving a total 100% pass to the idiots who are voluntarily drinking themselves into that state?
i wouldn’t go after these girls. they aren’t appealing to me. I am just saying idiots who do idiotic things, it isn’t a surprise they regret what they did and that other idiots take advantage of them.
Now that is how you raise your kids, don’t do idiot things, and have enough pride and respect for YOURSELF to ALWAYS ACT RESPONSIBLY so other idiots don’t take advantage of you.
But jeez don’t pass what is your responsibility off on other people. You are responsible for YOU. Don’t be an idiot and get passed out drunk. How about their parents teaching them that one? And while we’re at it how about teaching them not to be whores and hook up with guys for one night they meet at a bar?
And let’s be crystal clear here, a lady does not go to a bar and get falling down drunk, and hook up with a guy at that bar.
If you think that is a lady, well, we have a disagreement in what a lady is.
conversely, a gentleman does not prey upon drunk women either.
But in today’s college bars, you do not find that many of either ladies or gentleman. And you can tell that by the behavior they exhibit. Most are there to get wasted and hook up for meaningless casual sex. And that is not what real ladies and real gentlemen do.
Ladies stay in control of themselves so as not to act like whores and be a sexual tease, and so that nobody can take unfair advantage of them. gentlemen don’t prey on ladies because they aren’t there to use whatever woman is around that moment as a receptacle that night, and that’s the end of it.
But college bars are meat markets and truly, today, are no place for real ladies and gentlemen. The only thing that will come from it is desensitization to bad behavior.
Excuse me, they are far to coomon, especially in divorce/custody cases.
Perhaps you had better look at the hyperexagerators definition of ‘drunk’ before you comment.
