The show had the mobster torturing the man with knowledge of the three murders to get info as to where the bodies were located,

Is this common knowledge? Can info from torture be used in court? Bobby Kennedy involved,

How did I miss this? Thought FBI paid for info: The next day, the FBI began an investigation into the disappearance of the civil rights workers. On June 23, the case drew national headlines, and federal agents found the workers' burned station wagon. Under pressure from Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, the FBI escalated the investigation, which eventually involved more than 200 FBI agents and scores of federal troops who combed the woods and swamps looking for the bodies. The incident provided the final impetus needed for the 1964 Civil Rights Act to pass Congress on July 2, and eight days later FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover came to Mississippi to open a new Bureau office. Eventually, Delmar Dennis, a Klansman and one of the participants in the murders, was paid $30,000 and offered immunity from prosecution in exchange for information. On August 4, the remains of the three young men were found. The culprits were identified, but the state of Mississippi made no arrests.

The Kennedys were/are nothing more than an Irish mafia crime family.

Thank you. I can't stand it when people throw in extra apostrophes in an attempt to cover up their partial illiteracy.

Good story to post, grammar is not a big deal if it is understandable. Sometimes we write things without being fully awake.

It’s curious that “Jay Potato Chip Company” is mentioned. Though they are not “nationwide”, the product is somewhat available on a large scale. I’ve had them and long ago read the label on the product, they are made out of Chicago.

Excerpt from linked article:

“Two years earlier, an FBI informant alleged that he saw Allegretti at a nightclub with the owner of Jay Potato Chips who supposedly was grousing over the Kennedy Administration crackdown against the mob. A December 19, 1961 memo by Special Agent Edward J. Nehls states the following:”

At least nowadays, they appear to be “Jays” http://www.jaysfoods.com/

Then maybe you can point out an example of where this was done. “Workers’ Car” is correct as in “Workers’ Compensation”.

Where are these examples you talk of?? I don’t see them.

The only thing I see is “workers’ car”. Is that the correct grammar? It sure is.
