NEW YORK, July 1 (UPI) -- Kyra Sedgwick's husband Kevin Bacon announced via WhoSay the U.S. actress sliced off the top of one of her fingers while chopping kale in the kitchen.

Bacon posted photos of the 47-year-old former "Closer" star with bloody gauze on her hand before she saw a doctor, then a giant bandage on her finger after she was treated for the injury, People.com reported.

"Kale isn't always healthy ... if you chop the end of your finger off," Bacon wrote in his online message during the weekend. "My baby is fine. All good. Still can't find the tip of that finger."

Well, it IS under chat. I’m sure you could have moved on to something more your speed.

Besides Gamecock has about 11 years long than you posting serious and light-hearted threads, getting us to contemplate matters of great import and occasionally getting us to smile.

So lighten up a bit, Francis.

Besides, anything that can become a Seinfeld reference is good enough for me!

The wine is supposed to go in to the PAN.

But I don't drink.

Out on the internets, I saw a story about how the cousin of a famous actor ripped half of her toenail off when running barefoot on a rocky beach and stubbing her toenail on a jagged rock. I forget the actor's name but the TV show this actor stars in was the spinoff of another famous show which title I can't remember. Anyway, I haven't been able to go back and find that article so hopefully somebody on the Free Republic will know of it and post it here for posterity. Or at least provide a link.

Have a great day and thank you very much in advance.

Kale and other leafy green veggies should be banned.
Obviously they are hazardous.

FWIW I just prepped beef for the grill tomorrow. Glad to report my fingers are all intact.
