Last year, a St. Louis cop shot a golden retriever. I have never seen either a cocker spaniel or a golden retriever look threatening. This is pathetic.

Lord, a cocker doesn’t have enough brain to be dangerous! Like shooting a special-needs kiddo...

Aaaaaaand to all those with special needs kiddos, my humblest apologies. Gotta think before “send”.

In a Obama perfect world, LEO’s would sit at the coffee shop and only respond for a seatbelt violation.
They need the revenue and want to go home safe every night.

In this instance, you didn’t need a “/sarc” tag. You needed a “/sad but true” tag.

“The police are above the law and owe no one an explanation for their actions. They are answerable to themselves and their superiors.”
Most cities are corporations and the cops are armed security guards for the corporation and you ain’t a stockholder. :)

Don’t seek out an apology from the cop. Seek out the cop.

What if you are dressed in a dog suit and the cops happen upon you? Let's say, this one.

First it starts with doggie death squads.
As America descends into third world status those death squads will shoot the citizenry.

I wonder if it would be legal to sell signs that said:
“Police Officers Conducting Warrantless Searches While Trespassing Are Subject To Be Fired On Without Notice”.
To: Morgana
Thank God I moved out of that city 13 years ago. How sad things went downhill. It was a beautiful conservative city but now rise of crime, and just weird things.
To: Morgana
If a cop came into my house and shot one of my pets (cats, I admit), I would seek and get more than a frikken apology.

Exactly what might one do that they would consider “alarming”?
Where are the boundaries between being yourself and being ‘alarming’?
