They say children say the funniest things. And this is the proof.
A collection of some of the most amusing answers to questions posed to children from around the world has become an internet hit. Among the montage of pictures from school yearbooks and writing exercises is one youngster to insists 'when I grow up I want to be a dog'. And there's no faulting the youngsters' ambition, with another child saying that he dreamed of selling fruit at a busy intersection.

I’m 42, and I still want to be a dog >_>
So the neighborhood school will be sued into putting a fire hydrant in the hallway.
I grew up wishing I was a dog because my greatest generation parents always treated their pets better than they did their children.
Did you hear about the agnostic, dyslexic insomniac?
The poor guy lay awake all night wondering if there really IS a dog.
RULE THE WORLD!
Bumper sticker:
‘Lost-Wife And Dog. Reward For The Dog’
LOLOL!
That was really funny :D
I also agree that the more people I meet, the more I love my dog. Very sadly though, he died this past Sunday, and now I am here without him, and I’m not happy.
Some people I really do love though, those ones that did their damn best to help keep him alive, alas all of the sand ran down in the hour glass.
I am trying to adopt a new German Shepherd now. Hopefully I can get it done and her rescue will be complete.
Ah oh, that is not so good :(
First dog I ever met was my mom’s German Shepherd named Fortune. She used to let me sleep on her.
It’s been a dog’s world for me ever since. I don’t ever want to be without them.
My deepest condolences to you. I lost my Golden Retriever in February. I’ll never get over it. Good luck to you with the new pup.
I’m very sorry for your loss. A good dog seems irreplaceable when you lose your buddy. Good luck with the next.
Thank you kindly, afraidfortherepublic, I really appreciate that, and please allow me to offer my condolences to you as well. I know how hard it is.
I looked right in his eyes as he died, my best friend that I have ever had in all my life. I wish I could have gone with him. I have never known an animal such as him. I tell you it broke my heart in half.
Afraidfortherepublic, the only way to get over it is to let the sadness out of your heart by opening it to new love. If the heart stays closed, it will hold onto the sadness forever.
This is why I have decided to adopt again, whereas Sunday morning when he died I said I’ll not have another dog because there is no better dog to be had than the one I lost.
I looked at it wrong. To hold onto that sadness will kill me. Instead I will love another dog.
God bless you and take care, afraidfortherepublic.
Thank you, gorush, and he does seem irreplaceable, and I know that he is.
It always bothered me how short their life spans are. You know why does my dog, this just splendid and magnificent animal, die at 14 years when some babbling idiot like Biden gets...however long he gets...it is just not right.
But then I look at it like the Lord calls his angels home, and though it is so very sad, it gives us the opportunity to love and care for another of his angels. So that’s what I’ll do. I really do look at them as angels too, because they fill my heart and soul with love.
So will he be permitted to sniff crotches in school just as the transvestite children are appeased?
I’ve had Thai relatives say they would like to be re-incarnated as one of my dogs ‘cause I take care of them so well!

If your mother was Michelle obama the odds would be in your favor but then you have to worry about getting bar-b-cued by her husband.
When I am 100 I will:
The responses where hysterical.
One little girl said when she is 100 she will sit in a rocking chair, drink tea, and pet her cats.
Another boy said he would have white hair, walk with a cane, and fall down a lot.
My heart goes out to you on the loss of your furry friend.
(I have been there. I know.)
Thanks for your kind words. I have a few obstacles standing between me and a new dog, unfortunately. I’m recovering from knee replacement surgery and it really isn’t a good time to have a new pet underfoot. After this knee is recovered, I still have to have the other one done, so I am looking at almost a year until I could cope with a new animal.
Also, my mom is in assisted living in CA. She’ll be 99 in 6 weeks and could be leaving us at any time. I’m managing her affairs and will have to clean out and sell her house, so a new dog is not in the plans any time soon. Maybe in about 2 years...
