There seems to be NOTHING being "reformed" in this amnesty bill.
I left the USA in February 2013, sold everything, bought a house on the Pacific ocean in San Juan del Sur Nicaragua... All the expats here are like you and me...threw the towel in on the BS in the US and we are living a quiet slow paced life as it used to be in the 40s and 50s that used to exist in the US.
I have every creature comfort, very inexpensive to live here. I have some guys doing work for me sanding and farnishing exterior wood on my porch...rate of pay for an 8 hour day here...per man is $8.00...yup 1.00 an hour...these men work hard and are honorable.
Morals and ethics people miss in the USA exist in other countries...
Get out while you can and don’t let the fear of the unknown stop you...as the earlier expats have stepped up and took us under their wings, we are now doing the same for new expats.
My father in law has just bought a 6 acre farm on a mountain side about 15 km from us, we will soon grow our own food, raise chickens and pigs, we are going off the grid and will by this time next year only have a few recurring bils of about TOTAL (groceries, cell phone, wifi, electric, water, opane and diesel about 500.00 US a month...I paid for my house outright nd my annual property taxes were 353.00 for the year.
I should have my 5 year green card in a few months....
The medical benefits here are wonderful, some services are free most are very inexpensive.
The country pople used to know and love has died...your elected officials have sold you all out...they don’t know how to fix all the messes they have created and are only creating more...
The USA is on a fast decline into chaos...
Get out while you can before the USA stops the exodus of the people who have “eyes that can see”...
They’re REFORMING OUR ELECTION PROCESS so that the Democrats can retain power for eternity, thus ensuring survival of their Fascist Regime.
Yes, I retire in Sept, then get my affairs in order, and head to that south sea island beach in the Philippines. I was there in Feb, got a house already, and I am leaving soon.
A 21ST CENTURY JOAN OF ARC, SHE IS!
I retired at 54, have plenty of money and will also buy property in Ecuador...as another investment f land further from the ax pigs of the USA
As my forefathers did by eaving from Austria....they left everything behind in 1754 for the unknown n the USA... I have done the same...seeking refuge and sanity far away from chaos...good luck in the Phillipines, I have been there...was too Muslim for me, prefer a central American country with deep Christian roots...we had a huge saint celebration in town last night, it was a great festival with no “thought police” monitoring open religious praying and festivities...I really love my new home, wish I left the US 10 years ago...
I wish you safe travels and easy living...you will be so happy with your decision...and watching the unfolding US chaos from afar will remind you...you are way ahead of the rest who are trapped or too scared to leave the unfolding daily chaos....and you will never regret your decision...
I used to be a flag waver, patriotic American...nothing to be proud of any more...prefer earning Spanish and making a difference here and explain to local people here..that the USA is only interested in immigrants just to tax he crap out of them t support the lazy, shiftless and huge government obligations for pensioners....
Msst Nicas here have no interest in leaving here...they see the expats coming, they ear the stories of the US decline, the locals see Nicaraguas new canal about to be built the reason to stay and make the country better.
Standard Congressional Deception Protocol...
And get rid of all the addin pork.
It has been radical change since 1986 (really since 1965).
"They" are "The Powers That Be" and do not have to be concerned with logical inconsistencies such as using the word reform to mean something other than making improvements. In fact, they are quite concerned with getting others to forget what words really mean:
