And dumb enough to support this immigration bill given the Senate's 54-43 rejection of the Cornyn plan for a border security 'trigger'?
The CBO dynamically "scored" (with numbers supplied to it by Dems) the immigration bill (S. 744) and found that it - low & behold - will DECREASE federal deficits over the next 20 years.
Hmmm. How are those CBO-scored ObamaCare numbers working out for ya? They were only $2 TRILLION DOLLARS off when predicting the cost of ObamaCare. But no way they could botch this....right?
I wonder what the odds are of these 4 getting primaried, given that there aren't enough votes for cloture in the Senate IF Republicans hold firm (especially so since the Senate voted 54-43 to REJECT the Cornyn plan for a border security trigger) and the House can vote a resounding NO?
BTW, I wonder what the odds are of Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR) getting primaried or defeaded by a Repub in November 2014, as he is already weak from supporting ObamaCare, and hammered by current ads. If he votes for this immigration bill, he will hit new heights of unpopularity in Arkansas.
Yes, they are THAT stupid.
McCain, Graham, Rubio and whoever else votes YES is selling out the citizens of the US.
McConnel and Corker are so stupid they could be held up via carrier pigeon!
The vast majority of the costs to support criminal trespassers will fall on State taxpayers so the gang of 8 do not have to worry about the impact on the federal deficit.
I can only imagine what the tax implications in NYS will be given the state’s Cadillac give away programs.
It isn’t that they believe it or don’t believe it. They all just want this issue to go away.
They are terrified that they will get beaten over the head with it in 2014. They are also being told by their advisors that a whole lot of these illegals will vote republican. Of course we all know they won’t but who listens to us?
