I swore my next vehicle would be a Ford!

Here's my new Ford truck. After owning my Chevy for 17yrs and the fact Ford didn't take any taxpayer bailout money, it was time to make the switch. Any other Freepers own a F150 truck? If so, thoughts?

I’m on my third, a 2005 4x4 supercab that I love! At 105k miles it runs like a champ!

My favorite vehicles. 1995 F150 short bed. The only trouble I have ever had is the door handle drivers side tore away inside. Our farmer friend welded a new piece inside for an easy fix. And the Kubota you ask? Cannot manage fifty acres without a good medium sized tractor. I know, Ford makes tractors but this one really was a good deal.

All my vehicles are white, to include my Triton bassboat. Very practical and elegant color IMO.

I have an 83 F-250 that has parts that are not listed for that year. Some 82, some 83, some 84. It can be a pain to find the right parts.

Lots of Fords are manufactured in Mexico. I remember how I found a piece of paper under the seat of a new Escort some years back that said “Hecho in Hermosillo, Mexico”.
Trucks, I don’t know.

They suck down the gas a bit though, huh! I would still keep it even if it was getting 6 mpg!

Hubby’s back is getting so bad he is having problems getting in and out of our Jag so yesterday I went and test drove a MB GLK 350 for him. Loved it! Actually decent priced too for a Mercedes. Edmunds gave it rave reviews so that will probably be our next vehicle.
Keeping the Jag cause it is mine and I love it too.

The V6 bi turbo is a $2000 option the F-150. Is that the same one that will crank out 365 HP that the put in the Taurus Sho?

Very nice. I’m still rockin’ my ‘97 Explorer and ‘87 T-Bird (V8, not that POS Essex V6). Take care of it and it will outlive you.

That is what I did, V8 360 HP in F150.
Was just wondering if it was the same engine they use in the Taurus Sho.
Have the standard 288 HP V6 in my wife's Taurus Limited and it's pretty hot when you get on it, was kind of amazed by the performance.
That twin turbo V6 at 365 HP has to really kick it.

the Toyota Tundra has more domestic content, is built in Texas, and isn’t a UAW plant.
Both companies are widely held public companies so to say one is American and the other isn’t us an interesting exercise. who owns Toyota?
anything that hurts the UAW is probably good for conservatives

I like it......!!
I have owned three Fords in my lifetime...and all three were great vehicles. I currently have a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport. Goes where I point it...goes up and down real crappy dirt roads...and is reliable. Can't ask for much more...
That said....I'd like what you have.
