The president, it seems, committed a minor gaffe during this week's G-8 meetings in Northern Ireland. According to the Financial Times, the stumble came during a discussion of tax avoidance issues, when Barack Obama thrice interrupted the British chancellor of the exchequer in order to say he agreed with "Jeffrey."
The chancellor's name is George Osborne.
Obama later apologized, saying, "I'm sorry, man. I must have confused you with my favorite R&B singer." The U.S. leader was referring to Jeffrey Osborne, the soulful crooner responsible for "On the Wings of Love."
But is Osborne really the favorite that Obama claims? Some investigative reporting has raised serious questions about where Osborne ranks in Obama's hierarchy of musical preferences.
In multiple interviews about music, Obama has never once mentioned Osborne when asked about the songs he listens to, even when mentioning other R&B artists. Consider the following data points:

I bet Obama doesn't really like any of the music he claims. Like McCain, and Clinton, he just says what sounds good. I bet he really likes Alan Parsons Project.
Obama listens this his own speeches on his ipod so he can be informed about what the President of the United States just said.

I am still convinced obama is still smoking. However, I think he is still using heavy narcotics and marijuana.

At least he didn’t refer to him as homie, bro or dude.
It can be difficult remembering people’s names on a trip like this. That’s why most Presidents would have an aide or two at their side to remind them. Or in these days, perhaps an ear bud.
No one comes into POTUS’s presence without being IDed, and there should be SS Agents on the job as well as UK security, who can pass the names along.
The problem is that Obama is not only completely unconcerned about anyone but himself, he is surrounded by incompetent appointees who don’t bother to keep on top of these things either.

Cut the poor man some slack and stop criticizing him all the time for minor slips like this. It’s hard to remember things when you’ve been doing coke and poppers with your gay lover all night. You just try spending a night that way and then see how well you can read from a teleprompter! That can’t be easy. It’s a miracle the poor guy can remember which terrorists he’s arming this week!
