"Someone as refreshingly unique and unusual as second-place finisherthe Jewish, lesbian, banshee-voiced, wind-up box of endearing quirk Michelle Chamuelwould have been a much more invigorating choice for the show, and a winner who might have been able to put the series on the industry map."

Yes, I'm fully aware of the more important things going on in the world. But I do watch this show for entertainment and this article made me laugh. The young kid from Texas that one was quite amazing and clearly has the potential to be a country star. The MSM critics however can't stand anything like that and instead have been bashing the girl all season in favor of the above. Basically, the culture wars playing out on a reality TV show.

the Jewish, lesbian, banshee-voiced, wind-up box of endearing quirk Michelle Chamuel Barf. I found her incredibly annoying and obnoxious.

Always remember: It’s not about talent. It’s all about popularity. Someone with a voice like Donald Duck could win because of popularity.

    Oh, yes.
When Danielle releases her album, I'm buying it.
When the brothers release their album, I'm buying it.

    “on the industry map”
Music is not an industry. MARKETING of music is.
Might as well let the mob run things again. At least they didn’t interfere with the creative side and were willing to throw things against the wall to see what sticks.
The mob run record/promotion/publishing industry didn’t pay the creators and talent? Neither does today’s corporate racketeers.

The MSM was rooting for the screeching lesbo. Sorry.

IMHO, Sasha Allen was much the better performer than Schamuel (sp?).

A person who thinks “banshee-voiced” is a compliment doesn’t need to be commenting on anyone else’s musical tastes.

    Is Michelle a Lesbo??
Anyway Danielle is good and will get the same fans that Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have. Are they stars? Somebody please tell me.

    Indeed.
That said, I continue to be disappointed that genuine, hard-core rock-n-rollers can't seem to achieve any success on this type of show. Country and R&B do fine.
Pat Benatar wouldn't make the top 10. And that says volumes about the judges and the voting audience. Pity.

I guess the type of people who enjoy hard rock aren’t the same people that watch tv singing shows.
Pat Benatar had a tremendous voice. So did Debbie Harry, and so does the lead singer of Evanescence, whatever her name is.

Danielle Bradbery will become a country crossover star.
Michelle Chamuel will be performing at Dental Dam Awareness Night sponsored the Womyn's Wrestling Team at Wellesley.
