Cop Hits Little Girl With Motorcycle Then Shoots and Kills Angry Dad
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
How fast was the rider going? Please tell me, because it isn’t in the stories I read, but you obviously have more info, so please share it.
What is the speed limit on that road? Do you know?
Do you know how far away the motorcycle was when the child appeared in front of him?
Did the child walk out in the road alone, or in concert with the supposed 18 year old relative?
Do you know the traffic in the road, cars parked along the side, the road conditions?
Do you know anything?
I ask these questions, because this is your thread. You posted this, with the only information being provided NOT including any of the above questions I asked. You didn’t even provide a key element, the race of the victim and the race of the person defending themselves.
If you intended people to fly off the handle with insufficient information, nice job, you succeeded. Most of us likely don’t have the info at our fingertips that perhaps YOU have, but neglected to provide us. And I am being generous assuming you have information we don’t.
The way some people are, the fact that he is a cop and a municipal employee and a union member makes him fair game for vitriol.
So, which are you? Ignorant and irresponsible, or someone with an agenda trying to fan the flames of irrational anger?
There are only two choices here.
And yet, you identify the victim as a government employee, not a four year old child.
No rational person would assume that announcing one’s occupation to the father of the child *one had just struck* would “calm” the father of the victim.
One’s occupation is irrelevant in that situation.
Sweet, laughed out loud.
This guy is deparate for attention. His mom must be late with the cookies and milk.
Clearly, the rider was going too fast to observe pedestrians about to cross the road, and struck the younger pedestrian.
Whether he was going 33 in a 35 or 75 in a 55 is irrelevant to the fact that regardless of speed *he hit a child*.
Don't bother answering any of the questions I posted. Based on this comment alone that you posted, rationality is going to be wasted.
Yes, period.
And a four year old girl is the undisputed victim.
Maybe we should wait and see the official report and details of the accident before we assume that Easy Rider was at fault.
You forgot your sarcasm tag.
The thing that struck me was that the cop was trying to help the child even though he himself had suffered serious injuries . To me, that’s the reaction of a decent man.
Not acceptable, but it happens. The ultimate part at fault is the guardian of the child who let them wander into traffic.
This has nothing to do with society - two distinct groups respond this way: (1) rough black neighborhoods and (2) organized crime gangs. Society hasn't failed them; they have failed society.
No, the party at fault is the party who strikes the child.
The child was crossing the street while under supervision of an adult.
The government employee struck the child.
My older brother was hit by a car as as a six year old kid because he ran out into the road between parked cars at dusk, and a man hit him, severely injuring him with a compound fracture of his femur. My brother spent 6 months recovering, and fully recovered but bears a huge purple scar on the outside of his right leg from his hip to his knee, two inches across at the top tapering down to a point at his knee, with purple suture lines crossing it at regular intervals.
The man was doing under the speed limit, less than 25 MPH, and was guilt ridden. Everyone, including my parents tried to ease the conscience of the poor man, but he never got over it. My mom told me he became an alcoholic and later committed suicide.
Fact is, the guy wasn’t at fault. It was an accident, a kid got injured. My parents didn’t attack the guy like this POS did the off-duty police officer.
I read the quote by that poster, and realized that the person has an issue unrelated to reality.
Well, gee, then. That right there justifies walking into traffic. Come on kids. Follow me. Let's walk across this street. Be sure to step out from between some parked cars. Yeah, there's cars coming, they'll stop. They have to. It's the law. Physics? What's that? Gym class?
One more time for the slow learners: cops are NOT your friends.
I'm not certain whatever happened to the guy who hit the kid in my hometown, but I know at the time, he was inconsolable. This was before the internet. It was local news, the family didn't blame him, but he sure blamed himself.
Sounds like a good shooting to me.
