Confidential to Leander Police Chief: when choosing which officer to appoint to serve warrants, pick one who can read addresses.
Serving warrants is such an important job, why is someone to stupid to read doing it. This guy doesn’t sound smart enough for garbageman.

Shoot the cop.
Do that to one of my dogs and I don’t care who you are, you’re a dead man walking.
Way back in the early 1990s, a deputy sheriff in Colorado shot my friends' old GS, in their backyard, in front of them and their toddler son.
They were legally tending a burn barrel and didn't know the deputy was there.
He stopped to check on the smoke and walked around to the backyard to see what might be burning.
He surprised them, including their old girl, who trotted over to check out the stranger in her yard.
Not aggressive. No teeth, no charging, just an old, skinny girl hanging out with her family in her yard, trotting over to checkout the stranger.
Who pulled out his gun and shot her dead.
No charges filed, just the standard administrative leave and a transfer.
Hatred. Pure hatred. God, please release me from this burden.
First thing is to shoot the dog. Then give a “howdy” anyone home?
Here is the incident I was referring to on the other thread.
Update:
According to the officer, two German Shepherds starting running toward him, so he fired three shots and one of them struck Vinny in the back of the neck.
The Simmons say not only was it a close call for their dog, Vinny, but it was also a close call for their 6-year old terminally ill grandchild playing just around the corner.
I was in my house, my grandchild was at the back picnic table, my husband was in the kitchen getting a snack and my dogs do what they do; run in and out.

So, a “charging” dog is hit in the back of the neck and a six year old child is playing close by.
It’s a blessing the child wasn’t injured.
