Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said Tuesday it is morally outrageous to ban abortions after five months of pregnancy.
It is morally outrageous, frankly, Nadler said about the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 1797), a bill that would ban abortions 20 weeks post-fertilization, or five months into pregnancy.
Here we go again, he said. Every single year we have to go through the same nonsense with the same morally presumptuous, morally arrogant attitude that we know better. We know better than women and their doctors. We know better about their health care. We know better about their moral choices in very personal decisions.
Nadler said Republicans pushing the bill are morally arrogant people who have decided that their moral outlooks are more important than a womans health.

Dismembering a baby...the moral, constitutional thing to do.
Isiah 5:20 Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.
Does he support abortion up until the child is old enough to attend public school?
His 'high ground' supports Kermit Gosnell and his late term abortions.
Now that is truly 'outrageous'.
Planned Parenthood theatrics.
Medicine has come a long way since Row vs Wade.
I doubt Nadler knows the meaning of moral.
He certainly doesn’t know the meaning of gluttony.
He considers Gosnell and his ilk as “doctors”
I guess Mengele also was a “doctor” so who are we to judge his work
THAT is a moral void
I suppose Nadler would support abortion up until the time the fetus’ brain is fully developed, since the fetus can’t possibly be considered human before then.
By that standard, abortion should be legal up until about 309 months after conception.
> Post-Five Month Abortion Ban Morally Outrageous
I agree.
Abortion at any time during human gestation is outrageous.
IamConservative said politicians pushing *fill in the blank* are arrogant people who have decided that their outlooks are more important
Taken out of context, what Nadler said is how I feel about everything extra-constitutional that goes on in DC. In context, I would agree as well. Government/Politicians should not be involved in medical care. If an individual chooses to get an abortion and a Doctor provides it, they will have to answer their maker on judgment day.
Nadler somehow believes that as soon as someone becomes pregnant their judgement is automatically beyond reproach and their morality is automatically pure. Which makes his existence all the more baffling.
Amen.
Nadler must not have heard his idol Obama say, “If we could only save one child.” Oh, wait. I guess that only applies to guns and not abortion.
“morally presumptuous, morally arrogant attitude that we know better”
How dare anybody say that it’s wrong to kill your baby.
Who are we to say anything negative about reaching up inside a woman and cutting her little baby into pieces?
I mean if that’s what she wants we should be cool with it, right?
/s
I don’t understand people who are actually offended that someone has a problem with baby killing.
And you know what?
I’m glad I don’t.
I would have to be pretty empty inside to even begin to understand that level of craziness.
I recommend taking any “sermons” from members of the Party of Death with a grain of sulfur.
If carving-up unborn babies because they’re inconvenient is not wrong, then nothing is wrong.
Sadly 80 percent of the people one will see on the subway today agrees with Nadler!
Bull! Abortion has NEVER had anything to do with a woman's health!
He wants to control every aspect of our lives but one!!!!!!!!
