You are welcome. Tomatoes love to make roots at each joint, so just cut off a healthy looking branch, and pull off the lower leaves, leave a few leaves on top and bury the rest of the plant in soil or stick in a jar of water till you get roots, then plant in soil.

You can also use rooting compound to help - follow the directions. Tomatoes root so easily, I have not found it necessary to use rooting powder.

Greeneyes thanks alot for those rooting tips. Think I’ll let one of those ‘sucker’ stems from the ‘mater plants grow out a bit and harvest it for a cutting. I put my rosemary cuttings in a store bought liquid solution but i didn’t dilute it enough as I burnt them up dead. I’d rather learn from /johnny’s mistakes than my own. (’

Didn’t know you could do that. You know so much about gardening, when you go to sleep I’m going to take out your brain and add it to mine. Every week you say something about gardening I didn’t know.
