This is the "shocking news" that Glenn Beck claims is going to "rock the country".
I don't know anymore, but I'm glad some are finally standing up and standing firm against this tyranny. And I for one, will gladly stand with them.

Well gee maybe Bachmann shouldn’t have voted for Boehner for Speaker at the last minute.
To: Lucky9teen
If the showdown ends with Boehner still as Speaker, the showdown was relatively meaningless.
And you can bet Boehner will be in a retaliatory mood.

It’s way past time for the conservatives to stage a coup against the Republican leadership. We need a serious change in leadership in DC.

I’ll stand with them, but I take everything with a grain of salt. There’s a coup going on in our capitol. The progressives have gained the high ground and are flanking us. Without a divine intervention, I fear we are simply grist for the mill.
I personally wish the dictatorship of Barack Hussein Obama would start. At least we’d know what side everyone’s on.

A Boehner spokesman did not immediately comment. >BR> Boehner is on a tight schedule for getting immigration reform passed in the House, predicting this week that Congress could finalize a bill for President Barack Obamas signature by the end of the year. Any major challenge could ignite pushback from the American public that could force lawmakers to scrap the bill, as happened in the 2007 immigration effort. I wonder if a stain will be found on Bohners tie or jacket. I wonder if he uses the same cleaner that Monica Lewinsky used?

‘The three representatives told TheBlaze that more than half of the Republicans in the House were elected after 2007, and have no concept of how strongly the public opposed the bill. “
Don’t they mean the ones elected prior? I’m confused here thinking that the newly elected are more in touch?

more than half of the Republicans in the House were elected after 2007, and have no concept of how strongly the public opposed the bill.
And a lot of them don’t care what the public thinks. That’s the problem. Screw the republican “leadership” and listen to the voters.

What some of those who fear “political risk” don’t seem to get, is if this all goes down, their either won’t be a country to be a congresscritter or there won’t be a lot of “conservatives” elected anymore. IMHO, if you took an Oath to this Country, too bad about the “political risk” and DO THE RIGHT THING!

70 Hero’s.
And we have a system that is so corrupt that it allows Boehner the traitor to punish them.

70 members of the house standing up to Bonehead is, indeed, shocking news. Hopefully, they can recruit a few more.
If Bonehead continues to refuse to grow a spine, they might as well elect a Democrat as Speaker.

It’s times like this that I recall how Liberals always accuse us of being in lock step! :)
Hve you EVER seen any of this kind of internal debate within the Liberal community?
