Don’t they mean the ones elected prior? I’m confused here thinking that the newly elected are more in touch?

how does the republican party propose to win future national elections without expanding its base among white males, when whites will be a minority in this country by 2050:

and no, i am not saying amnesty for illegals is the way to go, but reality needs to be faced. if it weren’t for gerrymandered house districts the GOP would have also lost the House in 2012, along with the Senate and WH

He’s talking about the earlier immigration (i.e. amnesty) bill. Even here, few will recall that there was little public mention of a provision in that bill that would have basically made cash for labor without new government paperwork, even for paying your neighbor’s kid to mow your lawn, illegal, along with the other outrages.
