The strange part of the circus that surrounds Tim Tebow's every move – including reports Monday that he's going to sign with the New England Patriots – is that he does so little to keep it alive.
He doesn't court the media. He doesn't say outlandish things. He doesn't complain about coaching decisions or teammates. He doesn't publicly beg for another chance. Even the quarterback's outward displays of faith (Tebowing, for instance) are nothing that dozens of other NFL players don't do each week after scoring a touchdown.
Tebow is a good soldier, a young player who never said he was as good as his fans claim or publicly ripped into his critics. He, even during his star turn with the Denver Broncos in 2011, always claimed he was just looking to get better.
The circus never cared. His supporters never stopped pushing, his detractors never stopped blasting and the media never stopped feeding that ratings-gold beast.
And it nearly crushed his career.
So now it's New England. Now it's Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. And now for Tebow it's the perfect place and the perfect opportunity at the absolute most desperate of times.
No one pulls the stakes out from under the big top like Belichick.

This is why I said the Saints or the Patriots were the best shots he had: one would ignore the circus while no one would notice the circus around the other.
And with Tebow on the bench behind Brady, it’ll be his perfect opportunity to get better.

Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, is a liberal and has donated to Obama. This is good opportunity for Tim Tebow to witness to Kraft. Perhaps Tebow’s Christianity will serve as an example for Kraft and he’ll renounce his leftism?
The Circus will always be there. But Belichick won't put up with it the way Ryan did.
Obviously, Tebow is now with an adult organization, unlike Rex Ryan's Jets.
Tebow never really got a chance but then I’m not a really big footbal fan. I know he was absolutely phenomenal in college. I tend to think he is persecuted for his faith which shows, like in every other institution in American society, that Leftists are in control.

Living in Pittsburgh (such as that may be) I am a citizen of Steelers Nation. I hope the Steelers play the Patriots in the super bowl and after Brady gets knocked out the Patriots come from behind to win by three TDs.

Kraft is Jewish, and for Tebow to try to evangelize him when he's the guy signing his paychecks would be just about one of the dumbest things he could possibly try to do.
I can’t see the Pats picking up Tebow as a QB. The entire Pats passing system is based on short to medium timing routes which demand an accurate QB with a quick release who can made quick reads. This is not Tebow’s strong suit.

Agreed. Tebow a) has the proper level of respect a Christian should have for the Chosen People and b) has too much class to disrespect his boss in that manner.
