RECON TRIP!
I've found two suitable cottage/cabin facilities that can accommodate our group for next years TCMS.
Mill Creek Ranch Resort
(available Oct16 weekend)
and
Lake Whitney Marina
(available both weekends)
mylife will look into less known possibilities.
That is pretty freekin cheap.
Must be a HUGE RV or tiny little beds.
It’s really 45 minutes from your house?? Why does it always seem like it takes over an hour.

I got a line on someplace in Canton or Athens but left the address at work.

The road always seems longer when yer away from home...
They are quite pricy and they want 3-4 day rental.
I would do it if that boat moves around the lake.
We could visit all the segmented cottages and serve up Margaritas! LOL

Yes, the rates include insurance. I’m sure if we rented several, they’d help us haul and set up. If not, I have two trucks.
Here’s an example. It’s a 33’ with 1 queen, 2 doubles, and 4 singles. $500 for 3 nights.

I’m not pushing for this option. I just threw it out as an idea so we could all stay together in one area.

But consider that we’ll need 12 to 16 or so of various sizes.
Most folks will prolly expect ta walk in and relax.
They would have ta all be set up and ready ta go on arrival and all next to each other...less we get arrested for disturbing the peace!
But I’m game for all this too!

I am game for whatever everybody wants to do! The RV thing might be doable for sure.
I’ve stayed at the Joe Pool cabins. They are really small and not as nice (by a significant margin) as either of the cottages we’ve stayed at the last two times. They are okay and will certainly do, but don’t expect the quality we’ve had thus far. There are only 8 of them.
I haven’t stayed at Cedar Hill.
