I’ve stayed at the Joe Pool cabins. They are really small and not as nice (by a significant margin) as either of the cottages we’ve stayed at the last two times. They are okay and will certainly do, but don’t expect the quality we’ve had thus far. There are only 8 of them.
I haven’t stayed at Cedar Hill.
I know everybody likes the cabin stuff but we do have the awesome Gaylord Opryland Hotel up in Grapevine or the Wolf Lodge in Arlington if we can’t find what we are looking for cabin wise. Just throwing it out there. Cabins would be more fun of course...we might not have very good ones around here though.
The RV may be the way to go.
We really got lucky with the last two years cabins.
