RECON TRIP!
I've found two suitable cottage/cabin facilities that can accommodate our group for next years TCMS.
Mill Creek Ranch Resort
(available Oct16 weekend)
and
Lake Whitney Marina
(available both weekends)
mylife will look into less known possibilities.
I was going to go checkout the progress this morning but things got in the way.
It sounds like they are making it better.
Mickey was cracking me up.
He was lamenting that Red talked him out of that truck, “Best damn deuce and a half i will ever find”
And Red was dogging Mickey sayin “you don’t even know how to run the winch”
LOL
It’s all good.
Things is transprin.
Looking forward to seeing all the new stuff! :) Next October’s a long time to wait! LOL!
I may slip over there to check it out this weekend.
Enjoy! Wish I could follow along. :)
The more I look at the Hilton Hotel, the more I like it. They have 14 smoking rooms available.
I'm taking every other Friday after payday off of work till October. So starting next weekend I'll be flush with cash and ready for a recon/party road trip.
An open invite to the H.A.T. folks to camp out at my place is extended. We might even give the Hilton a tryout...
There may be a place or two others to recon the accommodations for the shoot.
Y'all spout off and let us know what's good for you!
BOOYAH and bless you for your work and I’ma show up at yer house for a week! ;-)
That’ll be fine...but, I DON”T want pie!

He’s still out there.
Watch your six.
(Or "cracer" as the case may be.)
We got lots of time to look around.
I like the cabin stuff but we have over a year to butter up The folks at the Hilton.
Ammo Depot was empty shelved on .375 Winchester rounds. Said their supplier was out also.
Found the only 100 rounds at the gun show (locally made) for $200
Think my Thompson Contender has gone to obscurity...
That is one wildcat round.
Thanks for letting me shoot it.
I had never heard of a .375, Whata freekin hoot!
Some guy at the gun show overheard me asking around for that round and said a friend would like to buy my gun...till I mentioned it was a pistol. There must be a rifle chambered for that round also...
I was checking out that .338 lapua
Holy Farking carp!
Like 215 grain projectile at over 3000 FPS
Holy Farkin carp!
You can get a different barrel, but I tell ya what.
That .375 in a pisol is hoot
