You’re doing great work. Ignore the critics. They’re nobodies doing nothing. You’re changing the way people think.
Another boot lick has spoken.
That is rich.....
Yes, we're well aware you lick the boot of your state government overlords. No need to remind us.
>> Conservative activists from Illinois That is rich..... <<
I guess you missed the news about the "progressives" in Illinois being unable to pass gay marriage in this state despite having a veto proof majority in both of both houses of their gerrymandered legislature. Guess who stopped it? It sure wasn't the conservative activists from Virginia who can't stop their allegedly "conservative" state from voting for Obama.
Who was it, then?
If I were from Illinois, wait I would leave that hell hole.....
And I believed I’d be better served by politicians appointing my Senators for me, I’d move to Canada.
Actually, I think he is Dan Proft
He is also the ILLINOIS FREE REPUBLIC PING master, saw it on a Post
He is supposed to PING The ILLINOIS list”
I do not suggest that any Californian try this. Boxer has such a rate of staff turnover that no one around her knows anything ... and neither does she. Feinstein? Well she is somewhat higher on the IQ scale than Boxer, (a) that ain't difficult (b) and not by much.
America has come to this: we think we need our elected ani to help us deal with bureaucracies that should not exist.
Novel concept: a modern state should be able to function oppressively enough on a budget of a maximum of 15% of GNP. We are at 22+% and climbing.
Year after that, cut another 2-3%. Let the chips fall where they may.
Strange that he has a blank FReeper page and no state identifier. That tends to set off alarm bells with me.
In the Federalists they asset the importance of the different bodies of government having different characters of design and influence. The 17th allowed for popular appointments of both sections of the legislature, which was against the founder’s well thought out design of government.
