Is Obama waging psychological warfare on Americans?
FoxNews.com ^ | June 3, 2013 | Dr. Keith Ablow

I believe that the Obama administration is conducting psychological warfare on conservative Americans. Not only that but it is also waging this war on all Americans who previously viewed themselves, their country, their Constitution and their overwhelming belief in God as a force for good in the world.

The psychological warfare began with an apology tour in which President Obama publicly “confessed,” presuming to speak for all of us, for the shortcomings of America and our supposed contributions to tyranny and all manner of evils around the world.

This confession planted in the American mind the notion that our values and beliefs might not be in line with freedom and truth.

The president, with the help of his administration, is attempting to conduct psychological warfare on Americans who value autonomy and free will.

It was reinforced by the first lady stating during the 2008 presidential campaign that she had never felt pride in our country.

These statements were seemingly shrugged off by Americans who, collectively, seemed to be telling themselves that they were hearing discontent channeled from disenfranchised groups in our nation who, nonetheless, loved the country—and all of us, too.

But, deep inside the American psyche, something more malignant could have been planted—the seeds of self-hatred and self-doubt. And I no longer believe that those seeds were planted unintentionally by people as smart and capable as the president and first lady.

“One of the comtatants to be eliminated”

What do you mean by that?

Unless he and his minions, or we and ours, abandon the battlefield, or unless he and his minions or we and ours are literally all killed, THAT ISN’T GOING TO BE THE ANSWER.

The answer is, like it or not, life is a battle ongoing between good and evil. It keeps on going and the combatants keep on going unless giving up or literally wiped out.

Those who think it was ever any different or will ever be any different are not living in Real-ville.

We thought Reagan, or Gingrich with the Republican House, or the Moral Majority and other like organizations, the tea party rise - you name it, were each signals that we had our enemies of America on the run.

But in every case we see that the other side never paused, never blinked, and quadrupled down on their efforts and they are appearing now to be strongly winning.

It never stops, even when it briefly appears so.

But, deep inside the American psyche, something more malignant could have been planted—the seeds of self-hatred and self-doubt.

No seeds planted here.

The ongoing PSYOP is trying to convince people that they are in the minority.

The Bolsheviks used it (Bolshevik meaning "majority").

Muzzling opposition through "political correctness", sensitivity training, and "hate crimes/speech" keeps people from saying what they think, and the silence is what makes people question whether they are alone in their beliefs.

It is the old "everyone believes" "the science is settled" approach to social mores and behaviours which the TOTUS and his cadre are unleashing on the populace via the MSM echo-chamber (how do they coordinate all those headlines, all the buzzwords?).

Some will be fooled, but more and more people I talk with need no encouragement to speak their mind--and they are seldom liberals in any sense of the word.

The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their goal is to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change.

We can be reminded of words in the following Excerpts from an Address by Noah Webster (father of the American dictionary) on the occasion of the 26th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence:
"The man who only flatters and cringes to gain applause, is a saint, compared with the man who tramples on law and constitution to secure the popularity his arts have obtained, and to retain the confidence of a party. There is something extremely contemptible in the factitious character of a popularity-seeker, or mere man of the people.

--------- "The natural consequence of too much popularity is, that it enables the possessor to violate the laws and constitution of his country, and sacrifice its interests with impunity . . . During the war in Europe, in the beginning of the last century, the Duke of Marlborough, by an unusual tide of victory, was borne so high in popularity, that he had influence enough to prolong that war, for the purpose of enriching himself; and a commission was actually prepared, which would have made him general for life, but it was rendered ineffectual by, a single member of the ministry, who had firmness enough to refuse his seal. *

To be a tyrant with any tolerable degree of safety, a man must be fully possessed of the confidence of the people. Charles the first of England extended the royal prerogative to an unwarrantable length, and lost his head . . . but that prince could not have sent a detachment of three hundred men to drive the commons of England from their hall, and have effected his purpose. That act of despotism was reserved for the republican Cromwell, the friend of the people. James the second was an arbitrary man, a catholic, and odious to the English nation . . . he was, therefore, compelled to abdicate his throne. But his successor, William, a friend of the whigs, ascended the throne upon a tide of popularity; and he could deliberately sign an illegal and barbarous warrant for the murder of the whole village of Glencoe, in Scotland, and never be called in question for the murderous deed!** "Oh, 'tis excellent," says the poet,

"To have a giant's strength; but it is tyrannous
To use it like a giant."
MEASURE FOR MEASURE.
"The open advocate of a strong government is subject to popular odium, his encroachments are eyed with jealousy, or resisted by force. But the hypocritical pretender to patriotism acquires, in the confidence of the people, a giant's force, and he may use it like a giant. The people, like artless females, are liable to be seduced, not by the men they hate or suspect, but by those they love.

"Our natures do pursue,
Like rats that raven down their proper bane
A thirsty evil, and when we drink, we die."
MEASURE FOR MEASURE.
* Johnson's Life of Swift.
** Smollet. continuation of Hume. Anno. 1691.

"Nor is it among the least evils proceeding from the ambition of popular favor, that the friends of the people are willing to secure it, by relaxing the energy of the laws. They know that legal restraints are odious, and will hazard the public peace, rather than not gratify the licentious propensities of their partizans. But,

. . . . "But why this gloomy picture of errors committed, and evils felt or expected? Ought we to renounce our predilection for a republican government, and abandon, in despair, the experiment which our fathers have begun? By no means. Not only our duty enjoins, but necessity impels us to prosecute plans of national grandeur and happiness, which were contemplated by the revolution. To advance, indeed, requires courage and firmness; but to retreat is impossible, and would be infamy.

"To ourselves, however, and to posterity, it will be useful to inquire, with candor and impartiality, into the causes of our disappointments. The real truth is, our revolutionary schemes were too visionary . . . and our hopes too sanguine. A republican government, in which the supreme power is created by choice, is unquestionably the most excellent form of government in theory; and with all its imperfections, is, in fact, the most eligible form, for nations in the early stages of society. In old, corrupt, and very populous nations, it is probable that the state of society must always prevent the mass of citizens, from acquiring that portion of property, knowledge and independence of mind, which are absolutely essential to render an elective government a public blessing. Government takes its form very much from the character of the people to be governed; and a republican or free government, necessarily springs from the state of society, manners and property in the United States. No other form is proper for the country . . . no other will suit the present state of society . . . no other can be imposed upon Our citizens."

(3). Change is brought about through relentless agitation and “trouble making” of a kind that radically disrupts society as it is.

… he must do his best to “stir up dissatisfaction and discontent [.]” He must “agitate to the point of conflict.” The organizer “dramatizes…injustices” and engages in “‘trouble making’ by stirring up” just those “angers, frustrations, and resentments” (117) that will eventuate in the “disorganization of the old and organization of the new” link

But I assert that this administration is engaged in a coordinated attempt to dispirit, disarm and disenfranchise large portions of the American population and to weaken our founding principles through what is best understood as psychological warfare.

The goal of libtards is to control behavior by means of total thought control. And when they can't control thought, they have to resort to psychological techniques which induce guilt-and thus to undermine man's self-esteem.

I think the psyops is very real and is to both assist his comrades on the left (who are happy for the ride and don’t care what else he is doing), but mostly to divert attention away from he and his associates rifling the US Treasury and citizenry.

In other words, nobama is a thief at heart and a muslim Marxist as a useful convenience.

they have Senator Reid refusing to approve a budget for the USA government, for 4 years and continuing.
So, there’s no beginning point for any audit trail ... to try to find out... what they’ve done with the $5 or $6 TRILLION of EXTRA money they’ve “spent” in the last 4 years

that’s one super=sized amount of missing money (our tax money)

gone gone gone with no visible benefits for America , just a ton of our money that’s disappeared

SOMEONE has got it, SOMEWHERE....that’s for sure...

Read it again. The author is a shrink and knows the rules of engagement for motivating a whole society (ex: social psychology to get people to recycle). What he says is that the seeds were intentionally planted by the COMMUNITY ORGANIZER who knows how to get those who know nothing to believe the lies only because the words came out of his mouth and they only care about what goes into theirs, in addition to striking at the hearts of the patriots. Two birds, one stone.

Every speech is a negative to those who are patriots. This administration is actually guilty of citizen abuse. The shrinks know that it takes at least 7 positive statements to balance 1 negative statement in the human psyche. Satan is a destroyer and these liberals listen to Satan and even though they might not be smart (high IQ) and capable, they are evil and dangerous, thus making them quite capable of destroying a republic.

We keep trying to fight a fair fight and “win” the arguments that are not intended to be defensible at all... the arguments just are and we continue to battle them with logic, process and rule-of-law.

You are mostly right, the non-logic/inconsistency in our system can bee seen at all levels, but I find it nowhere more sharply illustrated than in law/government. Consider the New Mexico State Constitution:

Art I, Sec. 6. [Right to bear arms.]
No law shall abridge the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms for security and defense, for lawful hunting and recreational use and for other lawful purposes, but nothing herein shall be held to permit the carrying of concealed weapons. No municipality or county shall regulate, in any way, an incident of the right to keep and bear arms.
Now the meaning here is obvious, especially the second sentence, which bars cities and counties from 'regulating, in any way' weapons -- Yet every municipal and county courthouse I have seen has strict prohibitions against weapons posted. This is obviously contrary to the constitution, and while I assert that these prohibitions are illegitimate, pause for a moment and gauge your gut-reaction to that notion: that people should be able to take weapons into the courtroom. That panic caused by subtle terror, that little discontent, is exactly the thing that the government wants -- unthinking, emotional outcry against something that dissents from their approved policies.

I've had discussions with law enforcement officers about this contradiction and they will almost invariably make the excuse "we don't allow weapons in schools either" -- there's also a State Statute prohibiting firearms on school [university] campuses; despite that the first sentence says "no law shall abridge the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms for security and defense".

I've had discussions with lawyers about challenging such statutes and their response is that it cannot be done w/o violating the statute. And thus we come full-circle: the Powers That Be have instilled a sort of implicit emotional check-system in the majority of the population so that it is "fellow slaved that keep you bound to the plantation" [to use the metaphor].

It does not seem like it could be more clear does it? And yet the “public servants” and lawyers have twisted it to their own purposes.

All wrong.

That said though, there are some people who should not be allowed to carry arms. Balance is precarious isn’t it?
