Leon County Lt. Tony Drzewiecki (drezz-WIKI') said Sunday that the 6-foot-llama outran him and his colleagues for a while, even leaping over a 4-foot fence to avoid capture.

...

Authorities cornered the 300-pound fugitive Saturday morning. Drzewiecki said they used a taser gun to subdue Scooter because llamas aren't domesticated and don't respond to voice commands.

Tony Drzewiecki

Sidebar, but we had a former co-worker by that surname who pronounced it: jeff-YET-ski

We used to call him Jeff Jet-ski ;)

Big hitter, the llama.

“My name is Kuzco! I’m the Emperor of the Inca Empire!”

Not a great movie but the brute character (Gronk?) was pretty funny.

Well I’m glad no human or llama was injured. A lot of people out here who have livestock keep either a donkey or llama to keep predators away-and those damn llamas only look sweet-they spit, run at people and animals-I’ve seen them chasing people and dogs around a pasture-they growl and kick, too-I wouldn’t want to try to catch one without a taser, either...

That was Patrick Warburton, who's a terrific voice actor. He's done the voice of many animated characters, such as The Tick, the wheelchair-bound police officer on Family Guy, and the wolf in Hoodwinked. I liked him as Titan in Space Chimps.

That is not a happy llama.
The thing that I find odd is that the owner called the sheriff when the llama escaped. That is not something that would occur to me.

He’s done pretty well making commercials too. Very distinctive voice.
