In the latest incident of anti-gun hysteria to erupt in a school setting, a kindergarten boy has been suspended from school for 10 days because he showed a friend his cowboy-style cap gun on the way to school.

I have a different view on this. I would like to see more of this exposed. I do not wish more children to be subjected to this type of treatment. I think it is outrageous.
But, the more the socialists let their mask slip, the easier a case is made for school choice. You will not win an argument with socialists, they must be defeated.
The more egregious their actions, the greater impetus for change.
That would be scary if the kid brought an arsenal of explosives, such as potassium perchlorate, sulfur and antimony sulfide or of red phosphorus and potassium chlorate. I think this principal would have wet her pants instead of doing that to a little kid.
A nations where wimps, homosexualists and islamists are in charge.
My sympathy to you having to live in The Peoples’ Republic of Maryland. That principal should be tarred, feathered, and dumped in Southeast DC.
This action is so vile. If my child were questioned like this, the people who did the questioning would be seeing me in court.
There is no authority to do this.
As the parent, the child would never go back.........
Part of the solution is teaching children not to take this crap.
Even at that age, I was confrontational especially when I felt that the adults were treating me unfairly. Just teach your kids to just stop this childishness and tell the adults just punish him already, if that’s what they want to do, and “quit yapping, and I reserve all my legal rights.”
Then the real adults have to hold these people legally accountable.
I’m not a litigious guy, but the only thing these guys will understand is legal expenses, judgments, bankruptcy, etc.
Allow the parents to interrogate the principal for hours on end, until the same outcome is reached
this makes me so angry
“The worst that would happen was maybe missing out on recess.”
Deprived of my trusty Fanner-50 and greenie stickum caps I was defenseless when I participated in the daily schoolyard episode of Bonanza, Wyatt Earp, The Lone Ranger etc..
That is exactly what I taught my daughter when she was in public school. Clam up and tell them to call me....immediately. Let momma take care of it.....and boy did I a few times. A couple of them came close to wetting their pants.
absolutely- these creeps claim mostl ikely that the ‘gun traumatized kids’ with no proof that ANY kid was ‘traumatized’ by viewing hte cap gun- yet The creeps that enterogated the poor child actually DID TRAUMATIZE thsi child until he peed his pants? I truly hope his parents Sue hte crap out of that school!- Bankrupt it- I mean why not? They are morally bankrupt not to mention devoid ofcommon sense-
We NEED a judge to state ocne and for all that a cap gun, a toy gun, a lego gun, a bubble gun- ANY ‘gun’ that is NOT capable of shooting DEADLY projectiles is NOT a weapon- PERIOD! This zero tolorance crap is gettign way way otu of hand- They are truning kis into sissies- determinign what hte kids are ‘traumatized’ by and what they aren’t- then trurnign around and traumatizing the poor kids that just thought their toys were coll and wanted to shjare them with the other kids— Let kids be kids for cryign otuj loud-
School chemistry classes in my day could be characterized as explosives. A teacher one day blew a panel out of the ceiling in a demonstration to our class.
Also reminds me how one kid in our class used some magnesium ribbon or something from the chem lab, stuck it in the classroom door, lit it and melted the keylock inside so we couldn’t get in class after lunch.
I’d be merciless. Sue them into bankruptcy. Devour their life savings with legal expenses. Don’t back off. I’d sue the school and the people individually.
Then again, I went to law school, so fighting these guys into poverty has special appeal to me.
For adults, I have always had similar legal advice if they are being bothered, leaned on, or otherwise harassed by law enforcement: offer your wrists for the cuffs and just say if you want to arrest me, do it. Otherwise, I’m leaving. Then don’t say a word.
Meanwhile, government welcomes into the U.S. tens of thousands of Muslims, millions more entering illegally, while government provides these foreigners, immigrants and illegals, like the Boston bomb terrorist, hundreds of thousands worth of tax paid benefits..
But go after the little kids with the toy guns....
Spit*
They are out of control. Now traumatizing children so they won’t grow up to tolerate guns and someday we’ll have a gun-free paradise. They are so divorced from reality it is frightening. Not to mention unaware of their own sadism.
government schools doing this ridiculous bs
government IRS oppressing conservatives to rig an election
when will people realize government is the enemy and the problem as the democrat party is the enemy and the problem we have
Right before the fascists in Washington make attendance at a government sponsored indoctrination center compulsory.
Could be the trigger for CWII.
“It cant actually launch a projectile.”
When I was a kid, we had these great cap guns that looked just like old Colt revolvers. There were “bullets” You had to open the cylinder, take out the “cartridge,” Pull out the “bullet,” and stick a round cap on them, and reassemble. You got 6 shots! Not a whole roll.
Well, the “bullets” had a hole in them, and I discovered that a BB fit into the hole perfectly! Instead of using one sticky cap, I’d use ten! It would fire the BB about a dozen feet, but with virtually no force behind it.
Those cap guns were cool because you had to optimize your shots, or you were shot, and ended up “dead” until the count of 50.
Careful now. You don’t want to end up on “the list” do ya? LOL! Probably on there with me already.
