Ok I'll start: I would like to see a re-make of the TV Series "Emergency".
Aye, therein lies the rub. Most are automated.
And I changed my mind on Venus Fly Trap. Don Cheadle. Not Orlando Jones.
And I forgot Herb Tarlek. That would be the part for Steve Carrell.
Salvage 1 - Salvage 1 was the story of a junk man, played by Andy Griffith, who built his own rocket ship out of leftover NASA parts and flew it to the moon to retrieve all the junk left behind from the moon landings. I kid you not. It started out as a TV movie (named simply “Salvage”), and since ol’ Andy still had the rocket just sitting around, he found something new to do with it each week.
I forgot Herb Tarlek. I was on my way out of the office when I hit 'post'.
That would be the part for Steve Carrell.
That was a cool series. It seemed to push individual accomplishment and private enterprise.
I’d hate to see what they would do with it today...
Schooner, not sloop. Sloop has only one sticky up thing.
You might enjoy the Billy Bob Thornton movie “The Astronaut Farmer”, although it might seem derivative.
Always thought Third Rock From The Sun was a riot. Çould never find better characters than the original though.
Hmmm, I think Will Ferrell ripping off his Anchorman role. Need lots of polyester! lol
I feel your pain. I'm in a similar Congressional district (IL-1, where I'm "represented" by black panther Bobby Rush) The scary thing is the district has been redrawn to the point where it's now geographically 50% Republican, but it doesn't matter since the 1/3rd of the district within Chicago city limits would give 95% of their votes to Adolf Hitler if he ran with a "D" next to his name.
About 70-80% of Americans are unfortunately in the same boat, and stuck in gerrymandered Congressional districts where their vote doesn't matter because the outcome of the election is rigged is advance.
Unfortunately the "Abolish the 17th amendment" crowd will ignore the reality of politics in the 21st century. They'll tell you it's fine and dandy to let politicians choose our Senators for us because we'd still get to vote for our Congressmen! Then they'll demand you join them in drinking the "let's pretend America is like it was in 1789" kool-aid.

With miniaturized circuitry and service plans, he can be the Four Hundred Dollar Man. But you have to buy a two year contract and you can get a new one at the end of the term.
John Galecki
The Sandlot
Flight of the Navigator
While a remake might be fun, I just can’t see either one being remade by today’s (even more) lefty anti-family crowd in Hollywierd.
Good grief!

- Holy Moly der Andy!
