Ok I'll start: I would like to see a re-make of the TV Series "Emergency".
“The Silent Service” was another great post WW II TV series..
Some shows end too early, though. We get the DVD and wonder how the series will end, only to discover that the show was permanently cancelled months before. Like that show Awake, where the cop wakes up one day and his wife is dead and his son is alive and wakes up the next day and his wife is alive and his son is dead. I was getting into it and waiting for season two, but there won't be any.
“Quien es mas macho...Ricardo Montalban o Yack Lord?”
Quien es mas muerto...Fernando Llamas o Ricardo Mantalban?
Ditto to all three!
Robert Fuller, out of the service, and before starting his acting career, in the mid-50s, said he used to see London singing in a club in Hollywood, and was a big fan of hers, never remotely imagining the two would co-star together in a tv-series some 15 years later. Heard him say this first-hand one time.
And keep the Opel GT
A campy version of the comic Dark Knight done with Adam West & Burt Ward.
LOL, if you saw his cameo appearance in the original M*A*S*H movie, he certainly didn't care for the Army.
I’ve always wanted to see “The Silent Service” and “Navy Log.” There’s another anthology series that Ziv produced, simply entitled “Flight,” from around 1958, which sounds interesting.
Of similar vintage, “West Point Story” recently came out on dvd. 1956-57, I believe. Lots of future stars appeared, from Clint Eastwood to Steve McQueen to Barbara Eden. Ziv followed that series with “Men from Annapolis.”
“The Equalizer”
Eric Holder should be the equalizer -
I wonder how much money Troupe made just from writing “Route 66”? I certainly didn’t think he needed the money.
She was also a singer.
Yep, scripted by Tom Clancy. That would be worthwhile.
Instead, the Hollywood idiots are trying to put together a feature film based on that show, starring Matthew McConaughey.
The way they ‘wrapped up’ Awake was ridiculous. Like one season of Dallas, it was all just a dream.
Actually they are remaking ‘The Equalizer’ into a movie with Denzel Washington in the starring role!
Don't you mean the end of "Newhart"? ;)
Look to see Battleground remade or another film about the Battle of the Bulge.
G-———d Army!
All in the Family. Maybe Fred Thompson could do it. I’d like to see them try simply because it couldn’t be done. It would be impossible. It would be fun to watch the train-wreck that would occur when modern-day tv attempted it.
...Jeep!
