Communist Reports likes it? What a shock.

The first and ONLY electric car I’ve ever liked.
And I LOVE it!
Be sure to look at the interior photos.

I don’t believe that many of Consumer’s Union workers have kids with bedrooms above the garage.
If they did, I think we’d see a ENTIRELY DIFFERENT result.

Base price of $109,000 and they liked it because it was so practical.

Sounds like Obama’s poll numbers.
Somebody was made an offer they couldn’t refuse.
Tune in next month, as Warren Buffett becomes a reviewer for Consumer Reports.

This is why I no longer subscribe to this rag. I NEVER agree with anything these folks recommend. I think they have some kind of racket going on.

Base price of $109,000 and they liked it because it was so practical. That way you can take out a 30-year loan and buy one car every thirty years.

So what? More than $80K and it has a range of 300 miles if you’re lucky (at 55mph mind you) and takes the better part of an entire night to recharge...at the several dozen charging stations available in the country. My diesel has a highway range of about 800 miles (at 70mph),cost much,*much* less than $80K,is every bit as fancy as the Tesla, has an engine that puts out 400 ft lbs of torque and can be fully “recharged” in about 5 minutes at any one of about 30,000 “recharging” stations nationwide.

Me too. I dumped them long ago when they started advocacy that smelled like more big government. Before that, I did rely on their product tests but its all questionable now.

My neighbor has a Tesla Roadster. Very nice car.

Slipping behind the wheel of the Tesla Model S is like crossing into a promising zero-emissions future. If they are really so concerned they would stop breathing.

Politics aside, getting behind the wheel of the Model S has really ruined me for driving anything else. Amazing ride and acceleration. I only wish I could afford one.
