A Hungarian pensioner was dragged off his mobility scooter and mauled to death by a pair of killer donkeys. Sandor Horvath, 65, was bitten and trampled on so much that when his body was found it was believed had been torn apart by wolves. Mr Horvath, was chased and pulled off the scooter at a farm in Magyarszecsod where he was visiting his farmer friend. His mutilated remains were found by the farm owner who called the police, believing his friend had been attacked by wild dogs. But a postmortem revealed the bites and markings had come from the donkeys. Police who pieced together the evidence said it appeared that the donkeys had chased the man and dragged him off the scooter before killing him.

Not surprising. I’ve nick named our next door neighbor’s donkey “Carnivore”.
That’s why a lot of people use them like watch dogs.

When I lived in New Mexico we had a donkey.
We had lots of trouble from packs of wild dogs getting at our chickens and goats. I once saw the donkey grab up a large Pitt Bull and slam it against the barn. The thing limped off squealing and bleeding. I doubt it lived very long.
It was rather gruesome.
The donkey was very gentle towards me....but I was wary of it at all times.
They don’t seem to be well inclined towards anyone but illegal aliens and Wall Street.
That’s some major ass hurt..
The Daily Mail’s comments are being saturated with people frantic that the donkeys have been marked for euthanasia. A love for animals is one thing, but the number of people who do not reference the death and suffering of that poor man is pretty disturbing.
These animals could easily hurt or kill another human being. They’re dangerous and euthanasia is a logical choice in this case.
Here in SE Texas a lot of people put them in with their cows to keep the coyotes away from calves.
A pack of coyotes doesn’t stand a chance against a couple of donkeys.
They will bite the crap out of them then sling them. If they don’t run then they also get stomped.
A mule will also do the same thing, only they are bigger and stronger.
What a couple of asses.
Agreed, And sad to say, but the same is sometimes found here on Free Republic. It bothers me when an innocent person's pain or death is used as a springboard for jokes. Sorry, but that's just the way I feel.

Some Indians, seeing a horse being ridden for the first time, and having never ridden an animal in their lives, on first sight assumed the horse and rider was a single very weird animal.
Beware hungary donkeys.
