President Obama humiliated the marine who he asked to hold his umbrella by making him ‘look like a butler’, a respected military general claimed today. Thomas McInerney, a former United States Air Force Lieutenant General, said that the President showed a ‘lack of respect’ by making the soldier shelter him from a shower. He also said that the President has plenty of aides so did not understand why one of them could not have held the umbrella.

yes an aide or even a secret service agent. NOT a Marine or any other military person in uniform.
And the press ridiculed Nixon for the “ pomp and circumstance” band uniforms. The military had no place being at a press briefing in the first place but O likes to dress things up. Degrading the military is just an added pleasure.

As infuriating as it is to see, you can’t buy negative publicity like this. He looked like a retard worrying about the rain. And the joke about him having extra suits but he didn’t know if the Turkish prime minister had another one. Really, like he only travels with one suit and there are no dry cleaners in DC? What a maroon. I’d buy that Marine a beer for that photo op. And then juxtapose the Turkish flag in the background.
