The two owners of Amy’s Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro took over the restaurant’s Facebook page last night to fight unruly commenters, and man, was it embarrassing.
If you recognize the name of the restaurant, it was recently featured on an episode of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. The owners were dumped by Ramsey after being too difficult to work with.

Someone has started a petition to have the place investigated by the AZ state labor board for the claim the owner’s don’t let the waitstaff keep their tips.
Have you ever watched this show? He’s very good at fixing up restaurants with problems - if the owners are smart enough and willing to set their egos aside to work with him and work through their problems.
That is exactly my position. Wife watches both, so I get to see a little of Hell’s Kitchen. I generally leave the room.

A couple of years ago, Gordon Ramsey showed up just a short walk from Fiji Hill to try to turn around a restaurant called the Capri. I ate there shortly after his visit—while I was there, one of the owners was actually on the phone talking to the Ramsey people, or perhaps even Ramsey himself, in London. They told me about the show, and that was the first time I had ever heard of it.
Ramsey made a return visit and announced that the restaurant’s makeover was a success.

That is just ridiculous. Okay first of all the hiring we have a lot of employees who are jumping from job to job its not us doing it and some of them have bad mouths and are rude so they had to go. Sammys hair was dark because he dyed it. He doesnt anymore I love him no matter if he’s grey or not. When did you eat there? why were the prices high? I never got any of those complaints about being too high. Its ridiculous.
The only time we ever got slowed down was because we had a lot of customers and a lot of orders. This was probably before the bullies came. Also we don’t serve breakfast so youre probably lying to say that the guys across the parking lot do that.
You probably for all I know never ever even visited Arizona or Scottsdale
no no no no no no no no no we didnt steal tips. See the thing is the wait staff they didnt do all the things that Samy did. He did the work. If they did then they would get tips. And anyway after Gordon came in we let them have tips anyway. We never got anything from the police or Joe Arpaio. I think he actually ate there once I dont remember he had some of my cakes and then left.
