So, my son and I will have a 5-day bonding experience and we will drive the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to Carmel and back in a pristine (red, of course) 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV-6/2.5.
I welcome your suggestions for some good driving music for the trip.
Thanks!

Think back to your younger days. Anything you enjoyed singing out-loud.
For me, I play Alan Parsons, Steelye Dan, Toy Matinee and Van Halen. Just make sure you turn it up real loud so no one can tell you are singing off key!

Alfa Romeo, huh? Clearly, Tosca, or anything else by Puccini.

I don't know anything about a DRIVING play list. What I do know is a riding play list. As a member of the IBA, I have done several cross country motorcycle rides. My play list is heavy on Sons of the Pioneers for timeless western music. After that Waylon, (early) Willy and the boys.
That is all that is ever needed to get me from here to there.

Are you sure a 1985 Alfa Romeo will go 5 days?

Dean Martin "Anthology" (if you can find it). For a change, "Clinch Mountain Country" - Ralph Stanley and Friends.
Crank up the Stanley when you go through cities. Bluegrass from a classic Alfa would be a hoot.
