to be honest talk radio has been cowards for the most part on social issues, the likes of Hannity are a joke, can’t mention marriage don’t ask but he states he supports the troops and vets.
Can’t mention cross dressing, abortion much either but he plays the safe angle to keep peace with his pals Beckel, Colmes etc and the establishment .

Only Levin and a couple are worth listening to now

The worst thing to happen to talk radio was the rationalization of all forms of media under just a few major corporate owners. For talk radio, this meant that a media format dominated by local hosts with really only one major national player (Rush Limbaugh) transformed into a format dominated by bland, amateurish syndicated hosts who are heard all over the country.

In my lifetime, the heyday of talk radio was that period from 1985 to around 1995. It's been all downhill since.

Possibly. I'll never know. Talk Radio drove me away when they went to their standard 50/50 format.

50% talk and 50% commercials, weather and traffic. Mostly commercials. Chopped up shows with no continuity. The web is better. FR is way better.

Rush often mentions abortion and marriage. Levin is the best though.

That being said. Rush has 25 million listeners, after I was black balled by some due to the Fluke flack, I would have never allowed them back & would have actively worked for their failure.

Plain and simple, with me or against me. Had I gotten flack from my distributor, I would have jumped ship, broke the contract and fought them in court for the next twenty years. I would have MF’d up and down every day on the air.

I lost allot of respect for Rush when he apologized to that Leftist Whore. I lost even more when he took back some of the advertisers that dropped him over the crap.
