The sex slave story out of Cleveland is horrific enough, but police are now indicating they are looking for the bodies of aborted babies who may have been killed after they became pregnant.
WKYC’s Tom Meyer reports that the three women held prisoner for a decade in a Cleveland home had gotten pregnant as a result of being raped by their captors. As many as five unborn babies died after the women were beaten. The beatings were so horrible none of the unborn babies survived.
The women were also attacked while they were pregnant and treated poorly during their pregnancies.
One of the women, Amanda Berry, was discovered with a six-year-old daughter.

Sad as that is I’m hoping the police aren’t digging for another kidnap victim, one who was killed as an object lesson to the others. Would explain why they didn’t try and escape till now.

I was wondering about this. How awful. Hopefully these b@stards get put in prison for murder. I don’t know if Ohio has a death sentence but this is a good case to use it if they do.

Puerto Rico has nothing to do with it. This is a horribly common thing - there was the guy in California a couple of years ago who kidnapped a teenager and held her as a sex slave for nearly 15 years, the people in Germany and England who kidnapped girls and held them (killing some).
The things they had in common were that most of them were married and were helped by their wives (apparently Ariel Castro is married) and that the police blew it on every visit because the kidnappers were “upstanding citizens.” Ariel was a schoolbus driver and the others were all employed and the police wrote off the neighbors’ reports as hysteria or maliciousness.
I saw an interview with a neighbor who said she was Puerto Rican. Must be a Puerto Rican neighborhood.
