Michelle Obama is going to speak at a Bowie State University function at the Comcast Center on the campus of the University of Maryland.
As a result of security concerns, U of MD students who still have to finish finals will have to pack up and move out of their dorms BEFORE they have taken their final exams. This, when they should be studying ...
In-state students whose parents DO NOT live locally AND out-of-state students have NO IDEA where they are going to live during the interim. MUCH LESS, how much time they will LOSE because they are moving and WON'T be studying ...
Anything for the Moocher.
They paid for those dorm rooms. Make Moochelle’s stormtroopers root them out one by one.
Of course, 90% of these kids voted for her “husband” so they deserve what they get.
BINGO!
She’s going to give a speech on how to become an EBTFLOTUS. How to be a vacationer and shopper on taxpayer money.
Do you know what day they will have to move? The reason I ask is that my daughter in college is driving home from SC on Thursday and she was going to stop overnight to visit a friend who attends UMD that night.
Mooochelle will just tell them to “go eat cake.”
The guillotine is waayyy too good for this bunch.
"Bowie State grads, I am honored to speak to you today - UMD punkz move yo' asses outta my way ..."
Why isn’t she in Mexico with the Muslim?
Is Reggie in Mexico?
We are proud and excited to host the First Lady on our campus. Please note, however, that this is NOT a UMD event. Approximately 14,000 guests are expected to participate in the Commencement, therefore we should all prepare for significant traffic delays. This event will increase campus traffic during an already busy day. Friday, May 17 is both the last day of final exams and the final move-out day for students.
To try and reduce the traffic impact on that Friday, we are asking students to move their belongings out of their residence hall space by 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, if at all possible. Students with finals on this day should allow extra time for travelling to and from their exams.
According to UMD, at least, the issue isn't 0bama's security, it's the fact that three large events, traffic-wise (Bowie's commencement, UMD's last day of finals and UMD's last move-out day) are happening on the same day. Also, it doesn't look like people are being forced to move out - they're asking people who can do so to move out a day early. If someone has a final on the last day (or the day before), they're not going to leave until after their last exam.
It's far more important to speak in a graduation ceremony for a historically black school with a graduating class of about 1,000 in a venue that seats almost 18,000 than to concern herself with the 40,000 students who attend UMCP.
Where are your priorities...c'mon.

What genius thought this would be a good idea? Jeebus H, you have to wonder just how stupid people can be.
Last time I looked, Bowie State was a black school, though due to costs, a lot of the formerly black schools are a bit more integrated now. Anyway, I’m sure they’ve got a student body that was just thrilled to have Mrs O there, but little did they realize, like all liberals, Mrs O was going to eff them over in the process.
Thank you.
Horse Hockey - I live 10 miles from UMCP. Local news reported it, interviewed students affected. They showed the reporter the notice posted in their dorm that they had to be out by the end of the day on the 16th.
Announcement: Heavy traffic and long delays are expected on campus Friday, May 17
It provides information for those who need to stay on campus until the 17th, and in fact provides a way for people who to request a "late stay," so that they can avoid the traffic on the 17th by leaving a day late (on the 18th), rather than a day early (on the 16th). Regardless of what the local news said, the Residential Life page makes clear that no one is being forced out of the dorms.
