Hmmmm ...
above the legal age of consent, the exploitation statute prohibits people in authority positions from having sexual relations with people under their guidance. It's a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. If this was a federal law in the 1990s ... Are interns 'under guidance'?

I don't understand why incidents of female teachers offering a little hands-on training to boys even gets reported. When a male teacher violates a student, that's a different story and can indeed have lasting effects. But this notion that boys are affected the same way girls are is BULLSH*T. Yes we ARE different. YES, boys think of it as a conquest, or a 'win'. Okay, punish the teacher for acting outside the scope of her duties, but bringing the boy into it is nonsense. Let him walk away with the win.
