Giffords' husband calls for NRA leaders to step aside

Kelly has thrown down the gauntlet to Wayne LaPierre, the NRA’s combative chief executive, on the opening day of the gun lobby’s annual convention in Houston, Texas. Writing in the Houston Chronicle, he accuses LaPierre and the rest of the NRA’s leadership of turning their back on the traditional values of the association in a simple drive for profit.

Of course he will be running for office. Most if not all the Democrats in Washington, Phoenix and Tucson along with a sizable majority of the GOPe think of this as the “Gabby Giffords Congressional Seat". And who better than Mark Kelly-Giffords to sit in it for the next 30 years or so?
I think former Gifford aid, Ron Barber is the current placeholder, but assume he will be convinced to ‘retire’ so Kelly-Giffords can take his rightful place in the Gabby Giffords seat.
