Every so often in such a serious matter as the Kermit Gosnell murder trial, a little levity take places.
As local Philadelphia-based reporter J.D. Mullane reports today, Gosnell demanded that uniformed officers address him as “Doctor.” The refused.
There’s no background on whether the exchange took place — whether it was in the courtroom, in his jail cell or during one of the times he was taken to or from the courtroom during the trial.
Either way, it’s confirmation that those responsible for Gosnell’s imprisonment pending the outcome of the trial understand that an abortion practitioner who killed babies doesn’t deserve the respected title normally afforded to an upstanding physician.

As LifeNews has reported, Gosnell is in solitary confinement in prison awaiting the verdict in the case.
Has he tried the race defense yet?
A remember the story of a soldier whose duty it was to escort an unusual prisoner. A Sergeant Major who had been court martialed and convicted of molesting a girl.
As he was being lead off to Ft. Leavenworth for the rest of his natural life, the guard said to him, “You’ll call me Sergeant Major!”, to which the guard replied, “I’ll call you ‘Private’, Private, and if you try to escape I will shoot you dead.”

NEGATIVE , using his name AT ALL ,, even just his first name is way more than he deserves ,,, it is NOT disrespectful ... he should be referred to as “prisoner 135634” and nothing else. Don’t give him a name ,, just like his victims... besides that would be proper protocol.

A friend of mine, let’s call her Susan Jones, a gourmet cook and a professional woman in her own right, was married to a doctor, and often wined and dined her husband’s colleagues and their wives at her home, spending a great deal of time and effort on each event. One of her pet peeves was that when the other male doctors would call the house to talk to her husband, they would address her by her first name, but refer to her husband and themselves as “Doctor [LastName]”, as in, “Hi, Susie! It’s Doctor Doe. Is Doctor Jones there?”
Docs who think they are God. She used to call them “M. Dieties”...

A general court martial with a guilty verdict for a charge as heinous as child molestation with confinement at Leavenworth includes being busted to private with forfeiture of all pay & allowances.
Now...lots of soldiers have been reduced to private following Article 15 or summary court martial, who then straightened themselves out and earned their rank back over time.
That ex-sergeant major doesn’t fill that bill. Game over.
I once got to observe someone so monstrous that even Leavenworth was too good for him. A little, shrimpy kid with more pure evil in him than you’ll find in a typical prison death row.
Two counts of late at night arson trying to burn down occupied barracks. Multiple counts of forcible rape, his signature being to horribly scar his victims faces afterwards. Heroin dealing, and because he thought one of his junkies was informing on him, he sold heroin to eight people that had been cut with dried bleach (amazingly, no fatalities). And the list went on and on.
He avoided arrest for a long time because he had informed on the other heroin dealers, to eliminate the competition.
In any event, he was so hated that the army decided he should only get four years at Leavenworth. Then they were going to turn him over to the state of Texas, on the promise that when convicted of state charges, they would put him in one of their hellish maximum security prisons, for life. Estimated life expectancy for him from six months to a year.
At the time I saw him, at a respectable distance, he was in isolation in the post stockade - for his own protection, as several people in his battalion had let it be known that if they ever saw him again he was a dead man.
Nothing like the SHU for the worst of the worst.
