To: null and void

I play guitar, and have performed onstage with a hurting shoulder (and other times, hurting feet, lower back, etc.) and it can be excruciating to stand and play. I feel for Weir, especially if the shoulder he injured is the one with the guitar strap over it. That would be hell.

Yeah. We’ll soldier on on stage or in combat through things that would otherwise stop us dead in our tracks.

It’s what separates the amateurs from the pros.

His “doc” should have pumped him up on cortisone or something before the concert, if the injury was known. That’s just SOP for those big time bands. I loathe/despise/hate the Dead; always have. All their crap music sounds the same. JMO.

Yes. I, too, have been there.

The worst one was the five hour new years eve solo piano gig with the flu in 2001. While everyone was still upset about 9/11. I never forget that one.
