General Electric, Co. has been quietly informing gun shop owners that the company will no longer be providing lending services to them, the Wall Street Journal reports. GE Capital is apparently reconsidering its relationship to firearms companies following the Sandy Hook shooting.

I thought the Obama regime runs GE anyway. This shouldn’t be a surprise.
So, anybody out there got the capital to start “The 2nd Amendment Bank of America”? I don’t unless I hit the “Wheel of Fortune” jackpot at the casino. Like that’s gonna happen’.
Yeah, immelt is on the business board that king hussein put together with zero results. Pretty sure that king hussein whispered in jeffy’s ear to curtail any gun lending. On the “qt” of course.
There are many banks in Houston that will accomodate gun dealers or anyone else.
then it will include places that sell pressure cookers and fireworks
GE Capital’s loss...the firearm industry is one of the few industries in America that is booming and bringing in record profits. There will be dozens of money sources waiting to take GE’s place.
I’m boycotting ALL GE products! There are plenty of others!!
Boycott GE!
They want to throw out the Bill Of Rights.
Count me in!
there are plenty of other good light bulbs at the hardware store
Go figure.
Adam Lanza’s father works at GE Capital - perhaps if he had done a better job of parenting his son wouldn’t have murdered all those children. Blame the guns, not the murderer or his parents for not having him committed.
I thought once his dad moved out he had a hands off relationship with the killer. Well, actually the guns were the killer. The kid just happened to be there and was in no way responsible for the travesty.
He may have been hands off - but why? Was the boy suddenly not his child? This whole story reminds me of when people are interviewed after a killing spree and say something like “he was a nut, we always expected this to happen” - yet they didn’t alert anyone or see if anyone could help the “nut”. I’m not blaming others, just saying standing back and waiting for someone who is mentally ill to do the deed is disgraceful.
Roger that. “im”plausible deniability I think it’s called or the “It wasn’t me” syndrome.
GE will be losing business.
I’m honestly not blaming anyone other than the nut job kid, but using liberal tactics of blaming others I wonder why they don’t blame the Dad for walking away from an obviously volatile situation
Dad might have been pushed out of the picture. Try taking a spin in “family” court sporting a Y chromasome sometime. You’ll find out after spending a fortune on lawyers that you lost before you even filed.
You could be right but somewhere in there I read the divorce was amicable - at least he provided very well for them financially. However, the fact that the kid was over 18 comes into play as well - there is little a parent can do, other than just kick them out, after they are 18. Doctors, teachers - no one can tell the parents anything without the child’s permission. To me, as long as they are under my roof I should be able to participate in all decisions. Fortunately for me, i’ve never had to deal with divorce court or child custody -
