Regulations, More vs. Less, contrasted to Enforcement. ~ Vanity
GraceG

Got into a discussion with a libtard family member recently.

Here is the gist of what I was trying to drill into his dense liberal head.

The more laws one has the harder it is to enforce all the laws equally therefore laws will not be enforced and this will lead to selective enforcement, selective enforcement leads to tyranny, tyranny will lead to revolution which most often leads to even more tyranny...

As he was trying to tell me that all the Tea Party wants to do is "Get rid of all laws"...

I kept trying to re-iterate that if you keep the sum total of laws and regulations down to a level that could be read by one person in an afternoon of light reading that one can more easily enfoce the laws not only more completely, but EQUALLY moreso reguarless of economic classes.

Too much regulation leads to inability to enforce, inability to enforce leads to selective enforcement, selective enforcement leads to corruption and corruption leads to the dark side it does...

Plop the Affordable Care Act down on your libtard relative’s lap and tell him to get back to you when he can explain it all in succinct, understandable terms.

I love that Quote, it really speaks to the sickness that has invaded government.

Maybe we shoudl start a submovement inside of the tea party.

The “Simplicity” movement! “Simplicity in government means freedom for the people”.

The bill that are thousands of pages that get slammed through congress are a sure sign of this.

I suspect you haven't learned that you can't debate with a libtard using logic, facts or reason.
They already know everything there is to know based on snarky sound bites from other leftists.
They also get to make up their own set of facts based on statistics that they also get to pull out of thin air.
I would suggest trying to turn their tactics around on them, but it's hard to shame or ridicule those that pride themselves on ignorance.

The funny parts is that this particular libtard sibling is a gun owner and was whining about the new gun regs in my state...

Progress is slow, but I feel I have to keep chipping away, if anything it will help me hone my conversation skills...

You turn that around on him with; the Liberals greatest fear is that some business man some where is getting away with something and is making an ‘obscene profit’ because he isn’t regulated.

If laws could prevent crime, we'd already be the safest, happiest nation on earth many times over.

Use the background check laws themselves as an example.

They pass these things, clearly not to stop felons and such from getting guns. If it had anything at all to do with stopping felons from having guns, then they would at least attempt to prosecute felons using the signed and fingerprinted documents declaring a signed intent to violate the law. Since neither of the supporting Clinton administration nor the Obama administration have made any serious attempt to use them to stop felons from having guns, one can only reasonably conclude that they are instead about harassing the good people out of having guns. Why on earth would you not support repealing those laws?

Your logic and argument is sound, you can never convince a socialist to open his eyes to the truth, and if they do, they will never admit it, as a socialist would rather destroy civilization and kill their own children than admit they were wrong.

One minor correction, the entire purpose of tyranny IS selective enforcement of the "law", not the other way around.

Read my tagline.

Read Chapter 10 of Luke. This problem has been around for a while. The answer has been around for a couple of thousand years, too.

Shakesphere: The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.

In some ways this makes sense as the “Law Making Guild” have set themselves up for constant employment by building more and more infrastructure for themselves.

Ladies and gentlemen, can you find it in your heart to donate $5, $10 or maybe $3,000,000 to the SEND A LAWYER TO PLUMBER SCHOOL FOUNDATION? Help save another good American kid from a life of avarice and bickering!

when they say reform we get something like Obamacare

this new immigration bill is 1500 pages the equivalent of an immigration Obamacare that of course will grow government, give amnesty to illegals, and let 100 million more of their relatives in.

look people the problem is these laws, gov creates a problem as the 1965 immigration act another law created this illegal and 3rd world immigration problem , so they say let’s fix immigration so then we get an even worse monster to add to our troubles, more gov, another 1500 page law which is not the answer. the answer is to repeal the 1965 immigration act as repealing Obamacare is
