Doesn’t alcohol cause cirrhosis of the liver?

Do imbibers realize that?

And eating too much food can also cause fatty liver disease.

As well as a number of ther negative effects, you take a risk doing anything, just don’t expect me to feel sorry for anyone who partakes in ANY vice and then whines about it’s negative effects.

History of the Marijuana Gateway MythThe real reason that hemp is illegal is nothing less than lunacy. Marijuana (including industrial hemp) was originally outlawed because "All Mexicans are crazy and marijuana is what makes them crazy." Dr. James C. Munch, the US Official Expert on Marihuana from 1938 to 1962 testified in court, under oath, that marijuana had turned him into a bat. Dr. Munch also supported the testimony of one murder defendant who claimed insanity because he had been in the same room with a bag of marijuana. The defendant was acquitted by reason of marijuana-induced insanity.

Wow!

Just a little farcical that the event was supposed to be a “calming gathering” of the celebration of pot legalization

It was until the "urban youths" showed up. From Fox News:

This has little to do with pot culture and everything to do with thug culture.

Thanks again for knocking down your own argument with your examples.

Or did you not realize that you were doing that?

...just don’t expect me to feel sorry for anyone who partakes in ANY vice and then whines about it’s negative effects.

Where have I asked you to do that?

I wouldn't expect you to feel sorry for a John who caught the clap from a prostitute or for a gambler who lost all of his money. Why would I?

I've simply asked you to support your assertions, nothing more.

According to the AP story, a rapper was playing on stage at the time.

What could possibly go wrong?

I would surmise that there is two types of “Pot Culture”, one is the libtard tree hugging spoiled white kid, the other is the pot using trayvon yute.

Maybe another one which would be the “libertarian casual user”....

But from what I have personally observed the first two groups seem to be the most numerous.

I've surmised that

you
believe stereotyping is a winning venue on the issue.

Why don't you state them instead of asking others to speak for you?

You're not a burr in my saddle, you're a presenter of illogical arguments.

Yoyu want to knwo exactly where I stand on pot, well hold onto your saddle horn nancy, cause here it comes...

I belive that pot should be legalized in a limited manner much like alcohol, however much like alcoholics I think that pot smoking dopes should not have the expectation that they are to be free from public disdain and should expect to be publically chastized via other peoples 1st amendment rights to call them dopes and pot smoking fools.

I think the only reasonable reason to legalize pot in a restricted manner is to stop corruption caused by banning it outright much like prohibition created cartels and whatnot.

Not under the argument that it is “natural and good for you”...

Most strains of pot are a LOT stronger than “natural hemp like plants” it was derived from, that is like saying mordern corn is just like Natural Maize.... Because the modern strains have been bred over the last 90 years for more potency and more potency than the type the founder MAY have smoked in the late 1700’s...

Saturday's 4/20 counterculture holiday, the first since Colorado legalized marijuana.

Um, as a native Coloradoan, maybe you guys could pick another day to celebrate marijuana. Pretty much any other day of the year would be just fine. For many Coloradoans, including myself, April 20th is a day of reverence and remembrance.
