Sounds like more than a few had their "buzz harshed" by the incident. Amazing how a few gunshots will sober a crowd up right quick. Me personally, I can't fathom how a celebration of intoxication would attract a bad element, but go figger. I do realize that pot does have some medicinal value but the pot smokers and pot smoking advocates seem to overplay this so that it is some sorta “miracle drug” that could cure everthing from glacoma to gunshot holes....

“Dang me, dang me, they ought to take a rope and hang me.” I’ve seen drunken brawls in the same manner and I’m sure shots have been fired at those drunken brawls as well. Just a little farcical that the event was supposed to be a “calming gathering” of the celebration of pot legalization, and looks like a few bad apples showed up and created some mayhem. Suppose the clowns from Boston had paid a visit with some pressure cookers? Since I did drink at one time and don’t now, I see the bad it causes in either the case of booze or pot. I’ve known people (I’m sure you do as well) who just cannot cope on a day to day basis without one of these to help.
