Secretary of State John Kerry, who served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts from 1985 to 2013, could not properly name the song. Instead Kerry called the song "Sweet Adeline" while thanking the New York Yankees fans rendition as a tribute to the victims of the Boston bombing.
