"Sweet Caroline" is an iconic part of Boston Red Sox tradition. .....
Secretary of State John Kerry, who served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts from 1985 to 2013, could not properly name the song. Instead Kerry called the song "Sweet Adeline" while thanking the New York Yankees fans rendition as a tribute to the victims of the Boston bombing.

Apparently Kerry recalls a song of his youth better than the song of the home team of a state he represented. You know they say that those with Alzheimer’s remember the past clearly but have great difficulty with the present.
