Why?
Rush said that he didn't agree with him! What do you want?...for Rush to be rude when he could disagree and be civilized doing it?
That's why Rush is on the radio for decades and we are on computers!
I said a govt giveaway is a govt giveaway. And, that the bill is worse than we thought...it legalizes relatives PREVIOUSLY deported!!
NO THANKS, RINO RUBIO!!
NOT TRUE!!!!
The first step, THE ABSOLUTE FIRST STEP, must be to CLOSE THE BORDER!!!!
Anything else is a waste of time and money. They could vote to close the border tomorrow and we could talk about the rest anytime later.
None of this makes any sense if we don't stop who is coming in and be able to filter out criminals and terrorists. Build the fence first and we can decide what to do later. Without that, all else is worthless.
"I happen to like Senator Rubio very much. He's a force of nature. He's a force of energy. Folks, he is a genuine conservative and full-throatedly, full-heartedly, wholeheartedly believes in it. He really does. The bill itself, however? I'm never gonna understand it. I'm never gonna understand the thinking here." - Rush
Can’t disagree.
Step 1 - Close the border; Step 2 - Toss all of them out.
I agree we have to start deporting illegals, and at the same time we have to close off the border, have to place the military to prevent invasion.
Rush is perilously close to losing me as a listener over his infatuation with Rubio.
I’m expecting him to announce his engagement to Rubio any time now.
I agree with you on that!
In other words, spend money on securing the border, but only the money YOU think is well spent? And you’re sure that sat phones for ranchers to help us out is poorly spent? Sounds like you just want to be a sumbitch on everything and not look for solutions. I mean, I am agnostic on the sat phones, but I realize that securing the border WILL cost money, and sat phones may be part of that money.
I think a sat phone for a few ranchners is cheaper than unionized patrol agents on full salary and bennies....
I understand your logic, and have no real dispute with it, except I would bring up a few things:
At some point, the problems that reach the lawful start to mount in the name of punishing all who are lawless. How much more money to we want to spend on law enforcement so that we can mass deport. How much other crime do we want to tolerate because much of law enforcement is tied up with deportation. How much more are we willing to pay for everything - yes, everything, in our econonomy. This is a 60 year old dynamic, and unravelling it is going to be much more hell on all of us than anyone is mature enough to admit.
How much are we willing to screw up our own lives to make sure folks don’t “get away’ with something? Thats the question. I mean, I hate that such is the case, but I believe it is the case.
I know you want believe this, and I know you’ll misinterpret my motives, but I’m going to say it anyway. Number 2 will NEVER EVER happen. It just won’t. It’s not possible to make it happen, even if most Americans were for it, and most are not for it. I’m not saying I like it, I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but I am saying this: If we split over item 2, we will insure that the party who will NEVER EVER DO ITEM 1 will stay in power forever, and NOTHING will ever get done.
I know you’ll come back with some purist self righteous holier than thou bullsh-t about what I must be thinking or who I must be secretly supporting or what my agenda is....but my agenda is only one thing: solving the problem, and item 2 is about a million times harder than you think it is and just is not in the cards. Again, that’s not a good thing, but it’s the truth.
Straw argument dear, straw false choice argument. I’m all for stopping the bennies and all for deporting those in custody for crimes and all for prosecuting things like DWI etc. You done barked up the wrong tree with a patently false choice, typical of how a weenie lib argues. (not calling you that, but you are using their mechanism).
and El Rushbo who is right “99.9 % of the time” was positive that Bammy was going to lose the election in a landslide.
Oops...
Shades of Operation Chaos?
If they are here illegally then that is a crime Cee
And you are rather smart ...know that
I have been required to leave and get restamped from Brasil..... Haiti. ...Jamaica....Colombia. ...France....even London....the land of my Saxon ancestry
Its the norm everywhere but here
Immigration legal and illegal has now for generations pushed us ever leftward demographically
Rubio.....bless his heart....sees sangre Latino
And has thrown his usual conservatism under the bus in favor of tribe
Pitiful
And Rush is parsing his fat ass....like my own....off
Rush has been a disappointment for a while now..since he got married, actually. And I’ve heard that his hearing problem is a bigger issue for him to deal with than he lets on.
You can put the entire premise of his show into two sentences every day: the rest is “by the way”, promotion of his tea and the annoying Hannity like repetition of the word “low information voter”. Okay Rush, we got it the first time.
Levin has much more substance and he’s brilliant. Only talk show host worth listening to. I don’t want to spend time with an entertainer..but rather an intelligent analyst like Mark who exhibits brutal honesty with the courage to say what needs to be said on the air.
Can’t wait to hear what he has to say about Rubio on his sbow today.
Rubio and his Merry Gang of 8 Traitors want to give away MORE free candy.
We all are in lock step about securing the border first, no?
The Schumer Immigration Amnesty and Welfare Bill has reversed itself from placing border security first to either a secondary or tertiary position during their supposed workup of the bill. Heck, from what I could discern from the Marco diatribe it would take 10 years for border security to take place.
Marco cannot make the case for the new border plan clearly and plainly, he has learned the ways of Washington well with his description filled with gobbledygook, smoke and mirrors. I feel Chucky is taking Marco for a Democratic ride to the wood shed with his last words to Marco being, “now that is how the cow ate the cabbage, boy”.
Have you ever, ever known the democrats to live up to any commitment, either verbally or contractually, concerning any future actions on their part with Republicans?
Yes, Rush was too easy on him concerning Rubios previous border-security-first-promises. We heard all the pie in the sky stuff for months and now we get the paper bag full of dog poop routing. Marco got used like a cheap date in the back seat of a 57 Chevy and we are the suckers once again.
