If there's one thing cats are good at, it's getting comfortable. Check out all the great places they've found to relax in our u local slideshow.

I have had many dogs thru the years that were scary smart. Outside of a strong instinct to survive, I have never really considered a cat’s intelligence.
But I’m learning. No doubt that they are pretty darn intelligent. When she wants to go outside, which she sometimes does, she starts jumping up to reach the doorknob.
It cracks me up!
Berdie, this nice girl kitty trusts you. Maybe, in the past, there was someone she trusted as much as she seems to trust you. Sometimes people and animals get lost.
I am glad she decided to move in with you. Just so you know, I have two dogs and six cats. Each is different in its own way.
Loved it! Thank you very much.
Ameow.
Ceiling cat approves.
You’re very welcome.
HappyCat be with you.
This thread gets better and better!
S&A, thanks so much for the kitty pings. With the way things have been going lately, we really need these heavy doses of cuteness and delight.
This is Boo. Boo Radley.
Typical cat behavior. A lot of them seem to like to just take off going like a bat out of he** for no apparent reason and then they just stop. Yours probably does it outside also you just never caught her/him at it before.

Patch sleeping in a canning jar flat (she's the mother of the two kittens above):
"I iz sleepin, go wai!"
Beautiful kitties.
You’re very welcome. I know I jones if I don’t get my kitteh fix.
I would be surprised if she had ever had a prior home. When she showed up here she was a pretty young and...barefoot and pregnant. I was able to round them all up and get them all fixed. That was nine years ago. Sadly, her babies were not nearly as cagey as she..and one by one...well you know.
I always made sure she had a heated bed in the winter and ice cubes in her water in the summer and was well fed. But as far as letting me really pet her..no way! I guess that’s why it’s so surprising that she is such an attention hog now.
I’ve always had a pack of inside dogs but currently only have one ancient Lab. I guess maybe she figured she could take him down with one paw behind her back and decided to move inside. In any case, she is quite amusing.
This is my baby.
She usually sleeps on me!
She only has 1/2 a tail, and is a "talker."
What a sweetie! I love black cats.
Thanks!
I love her to pieces!
I like black cats too.
They are the least likely to be adopted
from a shelter.
That’s really sad, I think.
Black cats are elegant!
