We believe the story is deserving of coverage by our own staff, and we intend to send a reporter for the resumption of the trial next week. In retrospect, we should have sent a reporter sooner.
~ Martin Baron, Executive Director of the Washington Post, speaking about the trial of accused mass murderer abortionist, Kermit Gosnell, April 12, this after WashPo reporter Sarah Kliff deemed it a mere local crime
Description of photo (click to enlarge), via J. D. Mullane of phillyburbs.com:
Three rows of seats reserved for the media remained empty Thursday morning April 11, 2013 in courtroom 304 at the Justice Center in Philadelphia where abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell is on trial, charged with seven counts of murder for killing seven born-alive children, and also a patient. The man at the rear of the courtroom is David P. Williams, of Delaware Right to Life, who covered the trial for his pro-life blog.
We dont want to hear about your ‘retrospect’ - we want to know why you didn’t think to send someone in the first place.
It is not retrospect it is incompetence.
Weekend news dump by the Washington Compost.
I think it’s more “we got caught, so we’re sorry”
They are trying to spin it as a racial issue because this murderer Gosnell had a little cleaner waiting room for white women. Of course he only did that because he figured white women may complain to authorities more.
The women themselves, had nothing to do with the racial aspect. After all, they chose a black abortionist.
Of course the Arias trial isn’t local./sarc
These people lie like Obama.
Kermit is Black....the Women who want to KILL THEIR BABIES are BLACK also, so THAT’s another reason no coverage!!
so exactly how does that work?
how many waiting rooms did he have? and they were segregated? did he bring in the minorities on different days?
Sadly it’s going on 3 generations of Infanticide.....55 MILLION DEAD BABIES and COUNTING!
This would be a great time for the Kansas press to revisit the Sibelius/Tiller mutual adoration party, including photos.
Yes, you are right. People do not know about this. I may have misunderstood, but Michael Medved had a caller who mentioned it yesterday, and it sounded to me like he was not aware of it. No surprise, Seattle being part of the Red Zone. Still, he is well-informed and thoughtful.
The WaPo has reporters?
The way I understood, they were directed to a different door. Don’t hold me to that, I just got that impression.
That’s easy: Those evil Conservative Pro-Lifers caused it all.
They initially ignored it hoping it would go away, and when it did not, they are now compelled to do damage control.
The story may eventually get widespread coverage, but it will only be couched in terms of how sadly underfunded, "women's healthcare," and how higher taxes might have prevented this.
These are the same people who tried to make Tiller a hero and martyr...I would not be surprised if Gosnell is eventually painted as a victim in all this.
I guess the MSM will ask that he be charged for discrinination. That trial will get more coverage. lol.
The statement rightly should read, “ We had no intention of sending a reporter, sooner or ever, but we’re busted, so, since contrition seemed to work so well for our demi-god Clinton...”
What the sick pr*** did was bring the white woman to the 2nd floor. The different woman were all there on the same day, and if the black women got too loud, the ‘helpers’ drugged them more as to not upset the white clients.
I read the grand jury thing last night and it was so outrageous I can’t imagine how any of them ever slept after a single day in that torture chamber.
Sure. Just like you should have spoken up sooner on:
1) THE ELIGIBILITY SCAM
2) THE AGW SCAM
3) FAST and FURIOUS
4) BENGHAZI
5) ZIMMERMAN TRIAL
6) VOTER FRAUD SCAM
to name just a few.
