Fonda said she knew immediately that she had made a mistake and has apologized repeatedly, both privately and publicly First off, let's be honest here, Jane. It wasn't a mistake, but was done with malice aforethought.
Second, some wrongs can be forgiven with simple words of apology; others require atonement. Where's yours?

Mere words of apology do not undue such crimes as Treason.
There is plenty of blame for the act she was guilty of doing. Real blame can be attached to American political authorities in that they have never arrested, tried and hung Fonda for treason. Her Vietnam conduct matches the conduct defined as treason in our Constitution.
