That is Big Brother watching you!
Obamanation Counterculture File.
One was spotted over St. Augustine, FL, a few days ago, as well. The thought was, “That’s different...not quite right for an airplane, no sound, different reflection/appearance...what is it?” with another person called for confirmation that it was a drone.
Several thoughts: there’s more awareness of them, more looking for them, therefore more seeing them, though have likely been around for “a while”; also, they are now increasing in numbers, therefore, more likely to be seen for that reason, as well.
Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean someone isn’t out to get you! ...or watch you!
Is today recycling day?
Hunting you.
I live near a GA airport and I see and hear a lot of weird stuff then when it flies overhead it turn out to be a Cessna 170. Lifeflight landed there and it was noisy as all get out; I heard it first and was thinking WTH, then I went and looked at the runway.
To paraphrase Bill Clinton, it depends on the meaning of “here” here. At first, I concluded that based on a “CVG airport” I could not determine the city. Then it occurred to me that I didn’t have any clue on the state. Then I decided that we don’t have enough information to know the country where you might be.
Finally, given that this is April 1: Are you on planet Earth?!
Could fly any faster or dart any quicker than a Texas dove with a 20 mph tailwind.
Could it have been an A-10? They buzzzzzz
In this part of Va, we have all sorts of stuff flying around. Drones, jets, helos, seals hanging off of helos.
Seems like other peeps have seen them in your state.

Who cares?
What is this obsession some people have with drones? They are going to play a big part soon in everything from monitoring/reporting on traffic conditions, to aiding law enforcement in finding fugitives, to supplementing CCTV cameras in public areas to help deter crime, etc, etc. They have military and civilian use and will be used more and more by police, companies, and even individuals. This paranoia some people have of new technology is a little ridiculous.
Just a matter of time before a drone collides with a commercial aircraft ... sending it crashing into a residential neighborhood, killing all on board and people on the ground. Journalists can write the story now, leaving a few blank spaces to fill in later as the event unfolds.
Silly subject. Sees a drone and goes right back to the racist, murderous, right-wing website to exercise hate-speech. I am reporting rca2000 to the authorities immediately.
Question, does our private property being secure from unreasonable search and siezure extend to air rights?
So, what kind of bird shot works best on drones?
How high overhead was it?
Don’t feel lonely we had one pass over us as we exited I-85 at Sugarloaf Parkway (Metro Atlanta suburb) on St. Patrick’s Day. At first we thought it was a chopper but as it got closer the wind drifted it sidways and you could clearly see that it was a drone. Just flying straight North up I-85 spying on the highway.
